You Dare Question God’s Motives?

An atheist on Quora (the Q&A site) asked why God would not have a moral obligation to forgive all mankind of sin, especially when He demands that we first forgive each other. I responded to the gall expressed, in his expecting God to overlook his sins, when he had overlooked God period for his whole life.
