FAIR USE POLICY
The Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976 makes allowance for “fair use” (for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research, as a permitted usage) of copyrighted materials, with limitations. “Fair Use” guidelines.
Sections 29, 291. or 29.2 of the Copyright Act of Canada outlines the statutory exception to copyright infringement called fair dealing, also referred to as a user’s right (as opposed to an owner’s right). According to the Supreme Court of Canada, it is an integral part of the Copyright Act of Canada, providing balance between the rights of owners and users. To qualify under the fair dealing exception, Calling Out Community will use the video only for a purpose enumerated in sections 29, 29.1 or 29.2 of the Copyright Act of Canada (research, private study, education, parody, satire, criticism or review and news reporting), and the dealing must considered fair as per the criteria established by the Supreme Court of Canada
AUDIOGRAB (Sound Effects)
AudioGrab provides a platform for Calling Out Community to download and use artists’ completed music, works in progress, collaboration materials, their own recordings, anything they have made and/or have the right to distribute. All materials hosted on this site are available for download and usage free of charge and without restriction.
EARTH NULLSCHOOL (Wind / Wave / Particulate Maps)
From Earth Nullschool a visualization of:
- global weather conditions as forecast by supercomputers, updated every three hours
- ocean surface current estimates updated every five days
- ocean surface temperatures and anomaly from daily average (1981-2011) updated daily
- ocean waves, updated every three hours
FILMORA WONDERSHARE (Video Creation / Editing)
Wondershare Software Co., Ltd., Wondershare Technology Co., Ltd and its subsidiary Wondershare Software (H.K.) Co., LIMITED (collectively referred to as Wondershare, or Licensor) are the developers and owners of the program and software known as Wondershare Filmora (hereinafter referred to as Software). All music tracks, elements, pictures, and videotracks not otherwise attributed to other parties are owned by the Licensor and integrated into the Software, and the licensed use of same isgranted to Calling Out Community as outlined in the End User License Agreement.
FOOTAGE FIRM, INC. (Stock Audio / Video Clips)
Owner of the http://www.videoblocks.com, http://www.graphicstock.com, and http://www.audioblocks.com websites provides Calling Out Community a license to use graphics, video clips, and audio clips (collectively, “Stock Files”) as a temporary member. Footage Firm Royalty Free License Agreement.
FREESOUND (Sound Effects)
This video uses Sound Clips from Freesound under the following licenses, as either:
(CCO) Creative Commons: ;
(ATT) Attribution; or
(ATN) Attribution Noncommercial.
All files listed for a particular video may be found by adding URL “https://freesound.org/s/” (without the quotation marks) at the beginning of the clip number in brackets.

iMOVIE (Video Intros / Video Outros / Video Creation/Editing )
Subject to the terms and conditions of the iMOVIE SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT, Calling Out Community has the right to use iMovie software (“Apple Software”) as permitted by the Mac App Store Product Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms and Conditions (“Usage Rules”), and is granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license. The Apple Software contains sample content including but not limited to graphics, audio clips, video clips and/or templates (“Sample Content”). This Sample Content is proprietary to Apple and/or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright. Except as otherwise provided, all Sample Content included in the Apple Software may be used on a royalty-free basis in our video projects but may not be distributed on a standalone basis.
INTRO DESIGNER (Video Intros / Video Outros / Social Media Promos)
Intro Designer retains rights over the Templates but grants Calling Out Community a license to use music and video tracks based on the license found here.

ORANGE FREE SOUNDS (Sound Effects)
Orange Free Sounds offers a lot of Free Sound Effects, Music Loops and Background Music for both Commercial & Non – Commercial use.
“The sound effect is permitted for commercial use under license “Public Domain Dedication”.
PIXABY (Stock Photos and Videos)
Images and Videos on Pixabay are released under Creative Commons CC0. To the extent possible under law, uploaders of Pixabay have waived their copyright and related or neighboring rights to these Images and Videos. Calling Out Community is free to adapt and use them for commercial purposes without attributing the original author or source. Although not required, a link back to Pixabay will be included. Calling Out Community understands and accepts that some photos and videos may require additional copyright notation, and we will ensure that all contents from Pixaby is properly attributed.
VIDEOBOLT (Video Intros / Video Outros)
NEWSTATION.COM, LLC, d/b/a VIDEOBOLT.COM and VIDEOBOLT.COM (“Videobolt”), provides certain services on or through their website, www.videobolt.com and their mobile application(s) (together with any related websites and mobile services operated by Videobolt, the “Service” or the “Videobolt Service”).
Subject to our compliance with their Terms of Service, Videobolt grants Calling Out Community a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-assignable, personal and non-transferable license to access and make personal use of this Service and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with Videobolt’s express written consent.
YOUTUBE AUDIO LIBRARY (Audio Clips)
Calling Out Community is granted license to use music and sound effects clips within the YouTube Audio Library to use in our videos:
- Attributing video: When required, we will make sure to credit the original artist in ur video description.
- Monetizing your video:Calling Out Community is authorized to monetize our videos using music from the YouTube Audio Library, since free music isn’t claimed through Content ID When required, we will show that we have commercial use rights to the music by including the music’s exact title and attributing it as having been downloaded from the YouTube Audio Library.
YOUTUBE VIDEOS (Video Clips)
When utilizing clips of YouTube video content from other YouTube content creators, we do so under The Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, which makes allowance for “fair use” (for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research, as a permitted usage) of copyrighted materials, with limitations.
