The Faking of Middle East News

Occasionally a photo or video will come along that goes viral, captures the hearts or imaginations of the people, who in turn influence their respective governments, and real, positive change is made that changes the world for the better.

This story is about 3 such photos that all meet those qualifiers – all iconic in their¬†own¬†rights – but¬†all¬†3 share a dirty little secret.¬† To be sure, the Middle Eastern events they portrayed shook us, made us cry, changed our lives and the policies of many of our nations…¬†

…and yet NONE of them¬†ever¬†actually happened.

the Threatened Palestinian boy

You’ve likely seen it before: An IDF soldier aiming his rifle at a Palestinian’s head. No context is given ‚Äď is the soldier about to execute the Palestinian at point-blank range? ¬†The photo spreads via Facebook, reinforcing the (false) narrative of “Israeli aggression against Palestinian victims.”

However, this event never happened.¬† The latest charade in ‘Pallywood’ ‚Äď a cottage industry dedicated to producing Palestinian propaganda ‚Äď is now circulating on Facebook, showing “an Israeli rifle butt digging into a young Palestinian’s neck.”

Thankfully, Roi Rahmani, an alert media monitor, discovered another photo, this one showing the two Palestinian actors,¬†appearing in a friendly selfie. ¬†The entire story was later covered on Israel’s Channel 2 news.

THE Burning Egyptian

(WARNING: graphic image.  Viewer discretion advised)

The following screenshot, published by Ahmed Mansour, a famed anchor on the Arabic Al Jazeera claimed that the following image is one of a Muslim Brotherhood supporter, being burned alive by the Egyptian Military – the narrative being that the current Egyptian government is putting ‘victim’ Brotherhood supporters to death.

The Brotherhood, under the leadership of President Morsi, were the government of Egypt from 2012-2013.  The organisation, founded in 1928, has a presence in governments around the world Рbut as of 2015 is considered a terrorist organisation by the governments of Bahrain, Egypt, Russia, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.  Not really the type one would get sympathy for.

aljazeera-channel-forge-news-and-images-about-what-is-going-on-in-egypt-300x167

If you search on the internet to check the truth about that image, you will find out that the original image is of a 2008 South African protester, who tragically set HIMSELF on fire.  This was a very embarrassing revelation to Al Jazeera viewers, costing huge credibility in Egypt and beyond.

The Drowning Refugees

img_0300

A photo of refugees floating in life jackets, looking for help has been portrayed all over the media as indicative of the plight that Middle Eastern refugees endure every day.  on its own, it paints a grim picture of the risks that these refugees take, often with little kids with them in tow.

ONE SMALL PROBLEM – an uncropped version of the picture has surfaced, proving the photograph was selectively edited to persuade Americans into allowing open borders for refugees and to further liberal agenda.

(Credit: Bare Naked Islam)

The full image, provided by Bare Naked Islam, showed a group of young men standing about seven feet from the crisis.¬† The ‚Äėtreacherous sea‚Äô is 2 feet deep at most. Surprisingly, the media did not add a shark fin into the photo.

What we can learn

The first, and most important thing that we can take away from the story is that all consumers of news (whether we read it in the paper,¬†¬†watch it on TV, or listen to it on the radio) have a responsibility to not pass it on until we¬†know it’s actually accurate.

Reporting.
(Credit: Jantoo Cartoons)

So many times I have friends come up to me and tell me a new story that they read online or seen on television that was just so ridiculously fake and so stupid, I able to shoot holes in the story right away…with simple logic or facts they couldn’t dispute. ¬†So many people out there are gullible and naive followers of whatever comes their way – they don’t know what’s true and what’s not.

And some¬†don’t even care. They’re looking¬†for a biased opinion that meets their views – and whether it’s accurate or not is irrelevant. ¬†It could be a¬†ridiculous myth – that’s the battle we fight today in looking for truth.

I don’t care whether you’re a conservative or liberal, I think that any time a news media source that you rely on has shown an obvious bias towards your particular views or those of the opposition, they should be ignored.

And¬†sadly, that doesn’t leave many trusted options. ¬†Right wingers should not be relying on right wing news from Breitbart or Fox News to tell us the truth in every situation. Left wingers should not be relying on CNN or¬†the mainstream media to tell them the truth. It behoves us to find the actual stories ourselves, often buried within the hyperbole and biased nonsense from both sides. ¬†The “no man’s land” between left and right sources is often the truth of the story.

(Credit: DaveGranlund.com)

We are not better informed about the particular issues of the day by listening to only the sources that we agree with. The only time that we will really learn anything about the world around us, and our response to it, is to watch both sides of a story.

One of¬†the best little¬†tools that I’ve ever found to help me know whether a certain online story is accurate or not is a¬†website called¬†TinEye.

You find a photo with an entire story developed around it, and you aren’t really sure you believe it. ¬†Save the photo in question to your¬†device and then upload it to TinEye – and in seconds it will tell you¬†when this photo first appeared on the Net, who the sources were – and you can then click those links and see if the original sources have now disappeared. ¬†It will also show you¬†whether it has been doctored in the meantime.

It was with TinEye that I actually discovered that the drowning refugees’ story was based on a doctored photo – they had merely cropped it down and told a tale based on what was left. ¬†TinEye’s technology somehow analyses the pixels in one photo, runs it against its 17 billion image database, and comes back and says “here are the photos that most closely resemble it” – which is amazing because it almost always finds many sources for the same pic – but¬†cropped, recolored, etc.

You¬†can then click on the original sources of the photo – and may then learn that this “battle in Ukraine” today was actually a photo from Russia 10 years ago.¬†¬†Or a photo depicting¬†something you are told has “just happened” may, in fact, have first appeared online years ago.

maxresdefault-2When fake news uses an image to tell a story it was never meant to tell, it costs the actual photographer or image owner, in reputation, etc.  They might not have intended for this photo to tell this story, and being connected to it could result in them being punished by their customers, with bad publicity, etc.

As Allen Murabayashi states in his excellent January 2017 article for Petapixel.com, The Problem of Fake Photos in Fake News:

Of course, the purveyors of today‚Äôs fake news aren‚Äôt concerned with misrepresentation. And they might not even be motivated by politics, but rather the potential profit from ads that can result from ‚Äúgoing viral.‚ÄĚ

As with any other form of image theft, photographers need to be practical about how to pursue infringement. But misrepresentation can damage a photographer’s credibility, so photographers would be wise to keep a vigilant eye out for real images used in fake ways.

Hear hear.  In fact, we would all be wise to do that.

Liberal Liars and the Trump Immigration Ban

On Friday, January 27, 2016, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order in which he partially banned immigration in the United States by citizens from seven different countries: Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Yemen, Syria, and Sudan.

This wasn’t a surprise since the president was fulfilling at least part of a campaign promise for a TOTAL ban on immigrants from Islamic countries for an indefinite period. The media firestorm has been daunting, and most people would not have been able to withstand the withering attacks in social media and in all major news outlets all day Saturday. They obviously know very little about Donald Trump.

UPDATE – JUNE 26, 2017

On Monday, June 26, 2017, President Trump signed a new Executive Order, restricting travel by residents of six countries into the United States for a period of 90 days Рwhich included all of the original countries in the January 28 travel ban, with the exception of Iraq.  This new Order was crafted to counter the firestorm generated by the news media, and subsequent judiciary intereference in carrying out the original Order.

That same day, the United States Supreme Court said it would allow the government to implement parts of its¬†suspended travel ban¬†against citizens from the six Muslim-majority countries with one major caveat: ¬†The ban cannot apply to those with ‚Äúa credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.‚ÄĚ

The state department has now attempted to define what counts as a ‚Äúbona fide relationship.‚ÄĚ Visa applicants from Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, Iran, and Yemen will¬†be able to enter the United States if they can prove that a close family member is already living in the US, according to a¬†state department cable¬†seen by the Associated Press. That includes parents, spouses, children, adult sons or daughters, son-in-laws or daughter-in-laws or siblings, but not ‚Äúextended family members‚ÄĚ like grandparents, aunts or uncles, cousins, in-laws, or fianc√©s.

ORIGINAL POST – JANUARY 28, 2017

Then, less a week after being sworn into office, President Trump issued an Executive Order on Friday, January 27 entitled: “PROTECTING THE NATION FROM FOREIGN TERRORIST ENTRY INTO THE UNITED STATES”, to fulfill at least part of a 2016 election campaign promise. (Full text of the Order may be found here).

(Credit: CNN)

Now, this Executive Order isn’t even close to what the President promised to do, which initially was¬†a total ban on Islamists coming into the United States.¬†The libtard news media were outraged that a President would dare do the very thing he promised for 6 months or more to do on the campaign trail. ¬†Utilizing the usual gaggle of half-baked celebrity interviews, and panels of “experts”, fake news networks like CNN practically frothed at the mouth with excitement over the story, which they believed would devastate Donald Trump politically.

After the Executive Order was signed, several leaders in the high-tech sector came out swinging against the ban, in a very calculated, concerted effort Рand receivedreceving far more coverage from mainstream media than their positions or influence deserved.  Why this industry is so specifically harmed by this ban, or chosen as spokesmen for its opposition, is beyond me.  However, it should be of concern to federal regulators that privacy piranhas like Google, Apple, and Microsoft are also now admitting to be hiring people from extremely undesirable places in the world, none of which seem to have any kind of vibrant tech sector previously.  One could understand a backlash if we banned residents of India, for example, because they have a widely recognized tech sector.  But Iraq?  Yemen?  Somalia?  Give me a break Рdo they even have stable electricity in all of these countries?

Throughout Saturday, January 28, several news outlets РCNN and the New York Times Рwere painfully obvious in their biased reporting of this Executive Order:

  1. ¬†CNN reported that the ban affected 135 million people. The source of this “amazing statistic” (my codeword for “fake news”) is a mystery. ¬†As¬†IBI Times reported on August 13, 2015:

The immigrant population in the United States hit a record high of 42.1 million in the second quarter of this year, an analysis of monthly Census Bureau data by the Center for Immigration Studies, released Thursday, has revealed. The number of immigrants rose by 1.7 million since the same time last year. Immigrants currently comprise 13.3 percent of the nation’s total population, reaching the highest level in the nation in 105 years.

On average, there have been approx. 1 million immigrants a year, and this ban is currently for 4 months only maximum. In addition, the countries named have never been a big immigrant source for America, with the exception of Iraq in the top 10 nations, with at about 96,000 per year.

The countries affected by the ban include:

Iran:

  • ir-lgflagPopulation: 82,801,633 (July 2016 est.).
  • In America: 470,341 self-identified Iranian-American (2011 American Community Survey, US Census Bureau).
  • Religion: Muslim (Shia 60%-65%, Sunni 32%-37%)

Iraq:

Libya

  • ly-lgflagPopulation: 6,541,948 (July 2015)
  • In America: 2,979 self-identified Libyan-American (2000 US Census Bureau)
  • Religion: Muslim (official; virtually all Sunni) 96.6%, Christian 2.7%,

Somalia:

  • so-lgflagPopulation: 10,817,354 (July 2016 est.).
  • In America: 126,948 self-identified Somalian-American (US Census Bureau).
  • Religion: near 100% Muslim, small Christian minority

Sudan:

  • su-lgflagPopulation: 36,729,501 (July 2016 est.)
  • In America: 42,214 self-identified Sudanese-American (2013 American Community Survey, US Census Bureau)
  • Religion: 100% Muslim (100% Sunni)

Syria:

  • sy-lgflagPopulation: 17,185,170 (July 2016 est.)
  • In America: 154,516 self-identified Syrian-American (2015 US Census Bureau).
  • Religion: Muslim 87% (official; Sunni 74%, Alawi, Ismaili, Shia 13%), Christian 10%, Druze 3%

Yemen

  • Population: 27,392,779 (July 2016 est.)ym-lgflag
  • In America: 40,731 self-identified Yemeni-American (2014 Community Survey, US Census Bureau).
  • Religion: 99.1% Muslim (65% Sunni, 35% Shia)

One of the first things I noticed, of course, was that all the flags look the same except for Somalia, which was very strange. I’m sure it’s a coincidence but considering they are in different parts of the world, it’s unusual.

The second thing that I noticed, and probably the most important in terms of what we were just talking about – CNN’s figure of 135 million people being affected by this travel ban is FAKE NEWS. ¬†First of all, as indicated above, there are only 42 million immigrants currently in America, growing by 1 million approximately per year. Secondly, in the 7 countries named –¬†just the sheer number of people living in all 7 countries combined – there are over 219.6 million people. ¬†So CNN literally pulled this number out of its collective rear end.

2. ¬†All media outlets have called this is a ban on Muslims. ‚Äď this is no more a ban on Muslims than calling off a Toronto Blue Jays game could be construed as shutting down Major League Baseball, or taking an item off of McDonald’s menu would be the same as shuttering the entire chain.

First off, Muslims can be found in all 196 countries of the world Рso banning 7 countries out of 196 is 3.5%, not a total ban as the hysterical Left suggests. Nor is a ban on 220 million people in those 7 countries (and not all people living in those 7 countries are Muslim) out of 1.6 billion Muslims in the world (as of 2010, according to Pew Research) valid evidence of a total ban (its 13.7% maximum) on Muslims.  The following Muslim-dominated countries are NOT even affected by this travel ban:

3. ¬†¬†Big media also credits President Trump for picking the countries himself for this ban. ¬†In fact, National Public Radio (NPR) contended that Trump picked countries the family doesn’t do business with. ¬†Total BS. On January 21, 2016, President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security announced that it was placing limited restrictions on certain travellers who had visited Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria on or after March 1, 2011. In February 2016, Al Jazeera reported the Obama Administration added Libya, Yemen, and Somalia to the list of “countries of concern”. That is the COMPLETE LIST announced Friday.

4.   The Executive Order bans Muslims and/or bans these 7 specific countries. A link is provided above tp  the original Executive Order, which President Trump signed on Friday, January 26. The text of the Executive Order is being hosted by CNN Рso there is no inherent Trump bias.

Protesters are very organized – this list was a single days’ activities on January 28. Who’s paying for this and why is #blacklivesmatter involved?

I defy you to read it from start to finish and find an example of more than ONE of those seven countries (besides Syria) that’s actually even named in the Executive Order. I defy you to also find the word “Muslim” or “Islam” anywhere in that Executive Order – IT DOES NOT EXIST.

The Executive Order refers to “foreign nationals admitted to the United States“, seeking “Suspension of Issuance of Visas and Other Immigration Benefits” to “nationals of countries of particular concern” – the administrative staff then simply used the Obama administration’s “countries of concern” list in their announcement.

It does target Syrian nationals specifically as, of course, there was a separate immigration outreach to them, and President Trump had made very clear on the campaign trail that he was not comfortable with it ‚Äď because the US was letting in people who had never been properly cleared. ¬†President Trump said that a system of “extreme vetting” would be developed to screen everyone from those 7 countries in the future ‚Äď therefore suggesting that the ban was a temporary one at best.

SO LIBTARDS OF AMERICA REJOICE – there’s no monster hiding under your bed. There is one visible, however, at virtually every anti-ban protest. This particular monster lies to rile up the crowd – which is tantamount to SEDITION.

Ancient And Modern Connections To “Trump’s Wall”

On Tuesday this week (June 24, 2017), newly-installed 45th President of the United States, Donald J Trump, sent the following tweet to his 21.8 million followers on Twitter (and in so doing, to the world):

Trump wall tweet

The loony¬†left has used¬†this Wall¬†as some tangible proof¬†of Trump’s “inherent racism”.¬† Yet, they show absolute hypocrisy as they do – for you see,¬†a wall already exists in part, has for decades, and you’ll be VERY surprised to learn:¬†

  • WHO¬†REALLY¬†ordered the ¬†original Wall¬†to be built
  • WHAT the original price tags was¬†¬†to build and maintain a Wall like this
  • WHEN¬†was it started, and WHERE¬†the project is at now, and
  • WHY¬†the wall is even necessary in the first place?

[Editors note: We refer to it simply as the¬†“Wall” from this point forward – a¬†capitalized¬†proper noun.]

¬†“So we built the wall, and the whole wall was joined together up to half of its original height, for the people had a mind to work.” (Nehemiah 4:6, New American Standard Bible)

“Ashurbanipal On A Chariot” by Unknown. He was without question the greatest ruler of the Assyrian Empire

Ancient history¬†seems to be repeating itself¬†in our modern age¬†as America faces Her¬†greatest challenge in 2017 ¬†– the threat from “enemies, both foreign¬†and domestic” – and anyone who has taken the Oath of Allegiance has sworn to protect America from such threats.

In around 605¬†BC, the civilized world was¬†embroiled in a titanic¬†conflict between¬†great¬†empires¬†¬†‚Äď the allied armies of Egypt and Syria (under Pharoah Necho II) were attacked¬†by the armies of Babylonia (modern Iraq, led them by King Nebuchadnezzar II), who was allied with the Medes, Persians and the Scythians (who together¬†form modern Iran). It was by far the greatest military conflict in the¬†history of the Persian Gulf.¬†

Somehow¬†at that time, the¬†little nation of Israel got caught in the middle of this¬†conflict, and the Babylonians invaded Israel after Israel’s¬†King Josiah had been killed, the Israelite army defeated, Jerusalem conquered and her walls destroyed. ¬†Over the next 70 years, the brain trust of Israel was deported to the Babylonian empire on a constant basis.

WallThe parallels between little Israel and the United States today, in the context of this story, are more than a bit surreal.  Like Israel, the United States found itself the victim of a great surprise attack on 9/11, leaving the symbolic walls of the nation torn down Рand the American homeland has never been more vulnerable to future attacks than it is right now.

Like Israel, for decades America¬†seemed to have¬†no leadership motivated or inspired to rebuid those “symbolic walls” and bringing the US back into a position of full safety and security.¬†

Enter Nehemiah in 445 BC.

img_0099A high official in the Persian court of King Artaxerxes I, Nehemiah served as the king‚Äôs cupbearer (Nehemiah 1:11), which evidently put him in a position to speak to the king and request favors from him. After hearing about the sad state of affairs in Judah (Israel’s southern Kingdom) Nehemiah acquired the king‚Äôs permission to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city and its fortifications. He is even given letters from the king to ensure safe passage and to obtain timber from the king‚Äôs forest for the gates and walls of Jerusalem.

Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem in 445 B.C. as the provincial governor of Judah. He immediately surveyed the damage to the entire city on his well-known night journey around the walls (Nehemiah 2:12‚Äď15). He enlisted the help of the people to quickly repair the breaches in the wall. He also urged them to set up guards to defend against the constant threat of those who opposed their efforts, including the armies of Samaria, the Ammonites and the Ashdodites.

Enter Donald Trump in 2016 A.D.

img_0069There are remarkable parallels between Donald Trump and ¬†Nehemiah of old.¬† Mr. Trump has been a highly placed official in the United¬†States business community, which also put him in a position through technology to speak to the people directly (as America has no king, the people control America’s destiny). ¬†Mr. Trump sought to inspire them (and on Election Day he acquired the people’s permission) to come to Washington to¬†rebuild America and make Her great again.¬† He also had surveyed the needs and announced that, like Nehemiah of old, a physical wall was needed to protect American interests.

In a January 25, 2017¬†New York Times¬†story, Mr. Trump announced that construction on his Wall¬†will commence as soon as possible, and enlisted America’s help to quickly¬†build the same.¬† Mr. Trump also urged Americans to¬†be on guard against the constant threat of those who¬†oppose their efforts, including neighbouring nations and terrorist groups worldwide.

img_0101Nehemiah said that he didn‚Äôt want to take advantage of food and land allotments that were due to his office because there was already such a great burden on the people of his province (Nehemiah 5:14‚Äď19). He also made the other nobles and officials forgive all outstanding debts and ordered them to return all land and money that had been taken as taxes so the people would be able to feed themselves and their families.

img_0100Donald Trump has also refused to take a Presidential salary if at all possible, following in the footsteps of the second-wealthiest President in U.S. history, George Washington, worth am estimated $500 million before he took office. ¬†Mr. Trump has also vowed to with the “nobles” in Congress and Senate to cut taxes, restoring the people to a place where they too can feed themselves and their families.

The hurried work of repairing and rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls and gates was completed by Nehemiah in just 52 days (Nehemiah 6:15). Another of Nehemiah’s accomplishments was to make a record and genealogy of all the nobles, officials and people who were then living in Judah.

Today, Donald Trump also has announced a plan to speedily build the wall between the United States and Mexico, and for the sake of general security, has suggested creating a record of certain of our cultural groups in the country that have been perceived as a direct threat in the past, so they can better be tracked while in the country – particularly the Muslim community – and to also deport those who were not in the country legally.

Now It Gets Really Crazy…

(Credit: US Border Services and Protection)
(Credit: US Border Services and Protection)

You are likely of the belief that this Wall running along the Southern border is a Trump concoction – and many of you believe it is a racist, right-wing, isolationist conspiracy that singles out particular people groups for open persecution from America.

That narrative is all nonsense. ¬†Every nation on earth with the exception of America seems to have the right to keep whoever they want out and let on whoever they want in floods.¬†But worn enemies of America have¬†used Her greatest strength as a weakness: flapping the Constitution in Her face and declaring that they cannot be held back… from what we have found out later were some diabolical plans against Her!

The Leftist media, and the Liberal (Canada) and Democratic (US) Parties¬† have made this Wall the ‘Trump Plan’, making him the lightning rod for their deep-seated, propaganda-fueled, revisionist history in the process.

We’re not letting them get away with it. ¬†For you see, dear friends, this Wall is not a new idea.¬† It’s not even HIS idea.¬† In fact, it’s not even a new barrier construction project¬†along the Southern border – Reuters reported in October 2009 that, of the¬†1,989 miles of border between the US and Mexico…

A¬†“fence” already exists on 660 miles (33.2%, or almost exactly 1/3) of the Mexican-US border. ¬†Not “under construction” or “in planning”, either. ¬†Those portions have already been completed.

And no friends, the United States has not found anyone else so far to¬†pay for it. ¬†They don’t have President Trump’s negotiation skills. ¬†Nor did¬†they apparently have Donald Trump’s¬†ability to manage large construction projects or to oversee budgets to ensure that things were built in a cost-effective manner.

img_0104What you are about to learn, however, ¬†is that the Clinton narrative about this Wall being a dumb Trump idea is nonsense…

… because in September 1994, President Bill Clinton introduce the same Wall idea, called Operation Gatekeeper, which included $800 million for border guards, as well as a 10 foot high “fence” (they took pains not to call it a “wall”) in places that would go 8 5/8 miles from the Pacific coast, cutting between the cities of Tijuana and San Ysidro, CA. – the busiest border¬†crossing in¬†the world.

The farthest-West section of the US-Mexican border Wall, between Tijuana and San ysidro, CA - 2010. alive and well already - since 1994.
The farthest-West section of the US-Mexican border Wall, between Tijuana and San ysidro, CA – 2010. alive and well already – since 1994.

In May 1999¬†I stayed a block from that Wall and watched as nightly, ¬†hundreds of people would line up with their wire cutters, blow torches or bolt cutters, to cut through the wall and escape. ¬†They didn’t have to be the fastest runner in the group – just faster than most of the rest caught soon after.¬† And according to recent media reports, every hole cut in the wall costs $1,300 to fix – over 20 years, that’s $6.5 BILLION, because some of their “fence”.¬† According to the New York Times, the Clinton fence at that time cost between $16 million and $21 million A MILE.¬† President Trump couldn’t do worse than that, but he surely can do better.

The Clinton barriers were built as part of three larger “Operations” to taper transportation of illegal drugs manufactured in Latin America and immigration: Operation Gatekeeper in California (above), Operation Hold-the-Line in Texas, and Operation Safeguard ¬†in Arizona.¬† And why did they build the Wall then that they somehow didn’t think we needed still now?

img_0108Ninety-six-point-six (96.6) per cent of apprehensions by the Border Patrol in 2010 occurred at the southwest border.¬† The number of Border Patrol apprehensions declined 61% from 1,189,000 in 2005 to 723,840 in 2008 to 463,000 in 2010.¬† Great to see the reductions, but SERIOUSLY, 463,000 illegal immigrants in one year from Mexico alone?¬† And that’s the ones they CAUGHT.

The decrease in apprehensions may be due to a number of factors including changes in U.S. economic conditions and border enforcement efforts. Border apprehensions in 2010 were at their lowest level since 1972.[6]

Folks, regardless of the political nonsense, the wall is happening, the wall is here, the wall is for your benefit.  And as we see from the voting record in the U.S. Senate to the right, President Clinton thought the Wall/Fence was important, and Senator Clinton voted in favor of it.

Enough already.

The “Ezekiel 38 Alliance” Is Born

Russian President meets Turkish Prime Minister August 9

This past Tuesday, August 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Moscow with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdońüan to discuss areas of mutual security interests. ¬†At the same time, the Russian President has been making overtures in the media with the President of Iran, urging him to join future discussions to create stronger ties in the region.

A month ago, this would have been impossible – you would never see these three countries sit down at any table together. ¬†Even more shocking – students of Bible prophecy immediately raised an alarm in the media, as the Prophet Ezekiel foretold (Ezekiel 38) of a future alliance between modern Russia, Turkey and Iran, warning that this¬†alliance…¬†

will someday militarily attack and nearly completely destroy Israel.

Until the last week of July 2016, none of the events being played out today before the world were deemed even possible.

Turkish and NATO flags (Credit: Reuters)

Then:  Turkey was a strong partner in NATO (the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) and as such was the largest ally of the West in the Middle East.  They were also an applicant to the European Union, having determined that their future was better as part of a United Europe.  As UK newspaper Express described it:

“Turkey is a key member state in NATO as it straddles the border between Europe and Asia and acts as a key broker between the West and the Islamic world.”

Then:  Turkey was seen by Russia as a constant threat РTurkey allowing the United States access to her airbases, in the wars against Iraq, Afghanistan and now ISIS Рthe latter in direct contradiction to Russian airstrike plans in Syria.

Then: ¬†Turkey’s¬†Incirlik Air Base was (and still is)¬†rumoured to have the largest stockpile of NATO nuclear weapons in Europe, all aimed at Russia, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Flames streak from Russian jet shot down by Turkish F-16s in November 2015 (Credit: BBC)

Then:  on November 31, 2015, the BBC reported the Russian / Turkish announcements that a Russian Su-24 attack aircraft was shot down by Turkish F-16s in the Turkey-Syria border area on November 24, though the pilot parachutes to safety.  Putin was furious, condemning the Turkish attack.

Then: ¬†Iran was Turkey’s biggest trading partner and next door neighbour – until Turkey decided to host the establishment of a NATO missile shield in September 2011. ¬† Iran believed the U.S. wanted to detect missiles fired from within her borders, in order to protect Israel from any counter-attack should Israel target Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Then:  In addition, Iranian spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that Turkey should rethink its policies over Syria, the NATO defense shield, and promotion of secularism over the Arab world following the Arab Spring.

Then: relations between these three countries, in general, were in the toilet.  That is, until July 15-16, when without warning, members of the Turkish First Army, Second Army, Third Army, Turkish Navy, Turkish Air Force and Turkish Gendarmie launched a full-scale military coup against the government, utilizing a shocking 8,651 soldiers, 1,676 non-commissioned officers, 1,214 military students, 35 planes (including 24 fighter jets), 37 helicopters, 74 tanks, 246 armored vehicles and 3 warships.

img_9418The conclusion of this coup has been even more shocking than its commencement. More than 15,000 arrested, including (presumably) almost anyone who ever opposed this current government Рwhich could easily lead to a dictatorship.  Even worse, the Turkish government is furious with NATO for not coming to her aid, although one wonders what kind of military response they expected when the whole thing was over in 2 days, and came without warning.

One also wonders how nearly 10,000 troops could have begun this coup on cue, in every single branch of the military, and NO ONE in government had any clue it was coming? ¬†That’s either gross incompetence or collusion.

I smell a setup so this President could pull Turkey out of NATO and become allies with Russia all on one fell swoop.  Someone somewhere was brilliantly pulling these strings Рperhaps Putin himself.  He did it in Crimea Рwhy not here?

This¬†story has just begun. ¬†Regardless,¬†the real story here is that the 2,600 year old prophecies of the prophet Ezekiel, chapter 38, just became today’s front page news:

The word of the Lord came to me: 2 ‚ÄúSon of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog [Russia], the chief prince of[a] Meshek and Tubal [Turkey]; prophesy against him 3 and say: ‚ÄėThis is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of[b] Meshek and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army‚ÄĒyour horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. 5 Persia [Iran], Cush[c] and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops‚ÄĒthe many nations with you.

The Mighty Military Arsenal of ISIS

ISIS should have been bombed into extinction months ago, yet they continue to fight on, thanks to an international online video recruiting program that has been both incredibly shocking… and highly successful. But the true secret of ISIS’ military success lies in its vast and terrifying arsenal of military equipment, some purchased illegally, but most of which…

…is American.

The spectre of ISIS looms across the world – they seem to be everywhere, lurking in every shadow, behind every tree. And in the Middle East, there is a sense that they are not only unbreakable, but their ranks continue to swell with new recruits each passing day. In our Western countries, they are the threat of death and destruction in any / all of our major cities.

Of course, that’s all nonsense, and quite frankly their greatest mouthpieces are our own Western media outlets, who portray them as the 900-pound gorilla boogeyman under the bed. In fact, Reuters reported in January 2016 that in the previous year, ISIS lost 40% of its territory. The same article reports that in fact they have been steadily losing ground since mid-2014. However, that’s certainly not the message that our media is portraying, and regardless, helping ISIS win a propaganda war, whether intentionally or not, makes them culpable for every crime committed by the terrorist thugs.

However, there is absolutely no doubt that they are well-equipped in their Middle East military missions – this is neither mere propaganda nor myth. ¬†And ¬†we can indirectly thank the military of the United States of America for that. ¬†I’ll explain more as to why in a moment.

Here is a taste of what the Allied powers are facing every day, as they fight this ISIS nightmare in Syria and Iraq:

T-55 Tanks

(Credit: Wikimedia Commons)

It’s reported that ISIS has¬†30 Soviet T-55 tanks, produced from the end of World War II through the 1980s. Analysts aren’t sure if ISIS even knows how to maintain them (or frankly,¬†even how to OPERATE them) but despite their age, the tanks¬†¬†remain operational in up to 50 armies around the world. They¬†hAve heavy armor, along with a 100-mm rifled gun and a secondary 7.62-mm machine gun.

T-62 Tanks

(Credit: s29.postimg.org)

The T-62 is heavily armored, has a¬†115-mm main tank gun along with two secondary machine guns. It’s¬†estimated¬†that ISIS has 15 T-62 model tanks. THey were the¬†main Soviet battle tank that was developed to replace the T-55, and were used extensively by the Iraqis to considerable success during the Iran-Iraq war.

T-72 Ural Tanks

(Credit: Jacob H. Smith/US Army)

ISIS militants have an estimated five to 10 T-72 tanks, although it is unknown whether they can keep the vehicles in working order. The T-72 tank is the second-generation Soviet battle tank, first entering production in 1971, and still rolling off the assembly line today.  The tanks are heavily armored and feature a 125-mm main gun, a secondary machine gun and an antiaircraft gun.

BRDM-2 Armored Vehicles

(Credit: Twitter)

ISIS has captured an estimated six of these armored vehicles. The BRDM-2 is an amphibious armored patrol car that was first created by the Soviet Union in the 1960s.  Operated by a crew of four, the vehicle has a 14.5-mm heavy machine gun as its main armament, along with a 7.62-mm secondary general-purpose machine gun.

MT-LB Armored Vehicles

ISIS is believed to have two BRDM-2s, both of which were captured in Iraq. Like the BRDM-2, the MT-LB is a Soviet amphibious auxiliary armored vehicle, first introduced in the late 1960s and still operating today. In 2012, the Iraqi Army struck a deal with Bulgaria for the procurement of 500 MT-LBs, which can fit 13 people each. Its main armament is a 7.62-mm machine gun.

BMP-1 Infantry Fighting Vehicles

(Credit: Twitter)
(Credit: Twitter)

ISIS is believed to have 20 such infantry fighting vehicles in its arsenal. The BMP-1 is a Soviet amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle. Introduced into service in the late 1960s, the vehicle was first used in combat during the Yom Kippur War by Egypt and Syria against Israel.  The BMP-1 can fit 8 trooms and 3 crew members. It has a 73-mm semiautomatic gun along with a 7.62-mm secondary machine gun.

ISIS has an estimated three 2S1 Gvozdikas. First introduced into service in the early 1970s, this Soviet piece of self-propelled artillery is highly maneuverable and amphibious, whigh ISIS can bring to the front easily.  The Gvozdika fires 122 mm shells at a semiautomatic pace. It has a conventional range of 9.5 miles.

Humvees

/i> ” width=”300″ height=”169″ /> (Credit: ISIS (via The Long War Journal))

ISIS acquired an entire fleet of US-built Humvees when it stormed Mosul. The US had provided these same Humvees to the Iraqi Army, who idiotically¬†fled the city like cowards and left it open to plunder by ISIS. ¬†The vehicles allow for quick and effective movement across rough terrain.¬†Humvee’s heavy armor protects forces against small-arms fire as well as against collateral damage from indirect explosions. The vehicles offer little protection against land mines or buried IEDs, however.

AK-47s

(Credit: Flickr/Carsten Lorentzen)

Although ISIS does not have a weapon of choice, the AK-47 has become the group’s standard assault rifle because of its low cost, durability, availability, and ease of use. ¬†Originally developed by the Soviets but quickly spread to other armies and irregular forces around the world. AK-47s are lightweight, fairly effective, and remarkably easy to obtain.

The B-10 recoilless rifle is an old Soviet weapon system first introduced into service in the 1950s. Although the weapon is now considered obsolete, it was used by a wide range of countries during the Cold War, including Syria and Iraq.  ISIS likely stole the B-10 from various military bases in regions now under its control in both Iraq and Syria. The recoilless rifle fires modified artillery shells that function well against tanks and other heavy armor.

It is believed that ISIS only has one M40 recoilless rifle. The M40 recoilless rifle is a lightweight antitank weapon that was made by the US. The weapon entered into service in the mid-1950s, and it quickly became used throughout the world.  Syria and Iraq never purchased the weapons, bur somehow the weapons fell into the hands of various rebel forces in Syria before ultimately being captured by ISIS forces.

The M79 Osa rocket launcher fires a 90-mm shell that is highly effective against tanks and fortified positions.¬†Investigative journalist Elliot Higgins (perhaps better known as Brown Moses) believes that these weapons originated in Croatia before being smuggled to Syrian rebels by Saudi Arabia. ISIS has used these rockets to devastating effect against the Iraqi Security Forces’ armored vehicles.

RBG-6 Grenade Launchers

This semiautomatic grenade launcher is lightweight and intended for infantry use. ¬†Saudi Arabia smuggled Croatian RBG-6 launchers into Syria, according to Brown Moses. The grenade launchers eventually found their way into ISIS’ hands and are now being used in Iraq as well.

RPG-7s

Iraq is awash with RPG-7s, with the Iraqi Security Forces, the Kurdish peshmerga, and ISIS all using rocket-propelled grenades. ¬†RPG-7s are highly portable unguided shoulder-launched antitank weapons. These systems are durable and relatively low cost. They’re also fairly simple to use, and¬†can reach distances of up to 920 meters, although at greater range the projectile may self-destruct without hitting a target.

Photographs distributed by ISIS supporters and media show the group having access to three varieties of multiple-rocket launchers: the 57 mm UB-16, the 107 mm Type 63, and the 122 mm BM-21. These systems can fire multiple rockets a second at a range of approximately 13 miles. ISIS has had multiple opportunities to seize the weapon systems from a number of conquered military bases in Iraq and Syria.

The M198 howitzer is a medium-size artillery piece that must be towed between locations. It was developed for service within the US Army after World War II.  The M198 can fire rounds upward of 14 miles. This howitzer can launch a variety of munitions, including high explosives, rocket-assisted projectiles, and white phosphorus. ISIS most likely captured these American howitzers from Iraqi Army troops after they fled their bases.

The Type 59-1 is a Chinese copy of the Soviet M-46 M1954 towed field gun. The M-46 was first produced by the Soviets in 1954. At one point, the M-46 had the longest range of any artillery system in the world with a 17-mile maximum firing range.  The Type 59-1 is a licensed Chinese copy of the significantly lighter M-46. Both the Syrian and Iraqi militaries made use of the Type 59-1 field gun, providing numerous source points from which ISIS might have acquired this weapon.

The D-30 Howitzer is Soviet artillery piece that was first created in the 1960s. The D-30 must be towed between locations, and the barrel of the D-30 is used in the 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery (which ISIS also has).

The weapon can fire a sustained five to six rounds per minute at an effective firing range of approximately 10 miles.

The ZU-23-2 is a Soviet antiaircraft autocannon firate produced in 1960 ano continuing to the present day. This autocannon fires 23-mm rounds at a rate of 400 rounds per minute.  The ZU-23-2 can fire effectively at up to two miles, and it is designed to strike at low-flying targets as well as armored vehicles. This weapon has been used heavily so far in the Syrian Civil War, and it is also in the arsenal of the Iraqi Army.  ISIS captured small numbers of 14.5 mm KPV, 14.5 mm ZPU2, 23 mm ZU-23, 37 mm Type 65, and 57 mm AZP S-60 antiaircraft guns from the Syrian and Iraqi arimes.

ISIS has at least two ZSU-23-4s in its arsenal. The ZSU-23-4 is a lightly armored antiaircraft system, is radar-guided and self-propelled, allowing for it to be easily transported between locations. Although the ZSU was only produced into the 1980s, it continues to be used in various countries that had arms agreements with the Soviet Union.  ISIS likely captured the ZSUs in their inventory from the Syrian military.

The Strela-2 is the first generation of Soviet shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile systems, introduced in the late 1960s.  The Strela-2 continues to be used in places where the Soviets once sold weapons, including both Iraq and Syria Рallowing ISIS many opportunities to seize them.

The HJ-8 is an antitank missile that has been manufactured by China since the late 1980s. HJ-8s have an operational range of up to 6,000 meters, and the system is partially based on the US BGM-71 TOW missile.  HJ-8s are highly effective against armor, bunkers, and fortifications. The Free Syrian Army has been using these missiles to great success against the Syrian Arab Army since June 2013, although now ISIS has managed to incorporate these weapons into its arsenal.  ISIS has also acquired 9M14m Malyutka-M, 9M111M Faktoriya, 9M113 Konkurs, 9K115-3 Metis-M, 9M133 Kornet, and I-RAAD antitank missiles for its inventory.

The DShK 1938 is a Soviet heavy machine gun dating from 1938. It became the standard heavy machine gun of the Soviet Union during World War II, and it is still in production around the world.  The DShK has several uses, including as an antiaircraft weapon and heavy infantry support weapon. It can fire 600 rounds per minute. The weapon can be mounted on cars for easy use and maneuverability. ISIS most likely stole these machine guns from either the Syrian or Iraqi armies.

It is highly doubtful that ISIS has the capability to fly the MiGs it captured during the fight over Taqaba ‚ÄĒ the planes may not even be airworthy.

ISIS has captured plenty of weaponry that it most likely doesn’t have the expertise or military infrastructure to operate, including a Russian version of the American Sidewinder missile that was looted from Taqaba and a¬†ballistic missile that it paraded through Raqqa, Syria. ¬†Nevertheless, ISIS fighters posed in front of Russian-made MiG-21B fighters after the battle:

Germany, France and ¬†Russia Unite Against ISIS

In a surprise move Germany left the anti-Putin-alliance formed by the USA: Germany is now officially welcoming Moscow’s readiness to act in Syria and is starting an initiative together with the Russians and the French to bring an end to the war. This is to stop the constant stream of refugees. Germany has ordered thousands of soldiers into readiness.

Germany surprisingly left the alliance formed together with the United States which intended to block Russia’s entry into the Syrian conflict.

Minister of Defence Ursula von der Leyen told Der Spiegel that she welcomed president Putin‚Äôs intentions of joining the fight against the extremist organization ‚ÄúIslamic State‚ÄĚ. It would be a matter of mutual interests, she said.

A speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added, Germany would welcome additional efforts of Russia in the fight against ISIS. Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier even announced the starting of a joint venture between him, Russian foreign minister Lavrov and their French colleague Laurent Fabius with the aim of bringing the Syrian civil war to an end. Lavrov and Fabius are expected to arrive in Berlin this Saturday.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called upon the US-Ministry of Defence to coordinate their efforts with the Russian military. Because both sides are actively invested in Syria it would be paramount for the US to reinstate the previously ceased operational cooperation with Russia, said Lavrov on Friday in Moscow. This was intended to avoid ‚Äúunintentional incidents‚ÄĚ.

Russia’s military drills in the Mediterranean would be in accordance to international law. Larvrov explained furthermore, that Russia would keep delivering weapons to the troops of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to support their struggle against the extremist organization of Islamic State (IS).

Russia already began a diplomatic offensive weeks ago. The Americans did not precisely indicate whether they would support the Russian initiative. Under no circumstances would the US give Russia credit for solving the deadlocked situation, should Russia in fact be successful. Therefore the US-government warned precautionary of a worsening in the refugee crisis should Russia intervene.

Neoconservatives are issuing warnings about any cooperation with Russia in whatever matter. US-President Obama did not clearly state whether the Russian initiative was done in coordination with the White House. Foreign Minister John Kerry went on a surprise visit to Russia in spring which, however, remained without results regarding the Syrian matter. It is likely that the US-government changed their mind in the face of the worsening of the refugee crisis so that they are now willing to cooperate with Russia in the Middle East.

German Frank-Walther Steinmeier has long been trying to conciliate behind the curtains and is therefore constantly in touch with his Russian colleague Lavrov. It looks like he is the only one in the German government who realizes that the refugee crisis will get completely out of control if the war in the Middle East continues. Austria and Spain signaled days ago that a Russian participation in the battle against IS was crucial. Russia began expanding its military activities in Syria.

German Minister of Defence Ursula von der Leyen wants to expand the deployment of the Bundeswehr, the (German unified Armed Forces) in Iraq. They Bundeswehr would be ready to continue its successful work in Kurdish regions in cooperation with the Iraqi government, she told Der Spiegel on Saturday.

First steps would already be undertaken. Germany delivered medical supplies, helmets and hazard-protections masks. Up to 100 Bundeswehr soldiers are training Kurdish Peshmerga fighters in northern Iraq. Weapons were also delivered.

Von-der Leyen also ordered thousands of German soldiers into readiness in the wake of the refugee crisis. If this was done because of the refugees or hints of terror threats is still unknown. The order was given to the troops a day before, said a speaker of the ministry on Friday in response to a report by Der Spiegel. Up to 4,000 soldiers are under constant readiness to be deployed.

French forces also maintain a strong presence in Syria, since launching air strikes against the Assad and ISIS regimes late last year.¬† According to a Kurdish source, French troops stationed in northern Syria have also commenced constructing a military base near the city of Kobani in Aleppo province.¬† Currently, the government of France said military personnel deployed to Syria are working only in an advisory capacity to ‘democratic’ Kurdish-led group.

France has 2,500 men in its special forces, of whom around 400 are deployed in 17 countries, mainly in the Sahel, the military said.  French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian had indicated in early June, in remarks to a small state television channel covering French politics, that French troops were helping operations at Manbij.  The French nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle is also in the region.

It looks like it’s the United States’ move now.¬† Clearly there are many groups today who feel the Obama has led a weak, emaciated and often confusing campaign in Syria, supporting some rebel groups in the region, and then announcing they have withdrawn funding or support for same – which would inevitably end with these allies’ deaths.¬† Some believe that Obama’s actions several years ago may actually have assisted in the creation of ISIS in the first place.

[Translators comment:
It has been reported that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called into question the effectiveness of the US-led coalition against Islamic State (IS). According to PNP magazine, he stated that concerned colleagues from within the US-led coalition turned to him. They informed him that the US military did not give clearances to their fighter pilots even though they clearly located and identified Islamic State positions.]

Russian Approval Rating for US Leadership: 1%

According to 2015 Gallup World Poll results, median U.S. leadership approval in 132 countries was 45%.

usa-russia-war_0President Obama’s 2008 campaign pledge to improve the image of the United States around the world doesn’t seem to have reaped any of the harvest of good will that he jawed on about for the last 7+ years.

Nowhere is that seen more clearly than after the now-infamous (and totally embarrassing) symbolic attempt to push the “reset” button on U.S.-Russian relations in the early days of the Obama administration.

You may recall that on March 6, 2009, then U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was in Geneva, Switzerland to present her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov with a red button with the Russian text ‚Äú–Ņ–Ķ—Ä–Ķ–≥—Ä—É–∑–ļ–į‚ÄĚ.

Secretary of State Clinton gives Russia a “reset” of diplomatic relations – or does she? (Credit: CNN)

It was intended that this would be the Russian word for “reset“. Clinton explained that she wanted to reset relations between Russia and the United States, which had according to her and the Obama administration had stagnated and even deteriorated over the previous decade.

However, Lavrov explained to Clinton that ‚Äú–Ņ–Ķ—Ä–Ķ–≥—Ä—É–∑–ļ–į‚ÄĚ actually means ‚Äúovercharge”. The two pressed the button anyway, with Clinton explaining that the American side meant it; they wanted a new era of better ties. You can see the video here, one of the more cringe-worthy moments in recent diplomatic history.

Reset Button
“Reset” button (Credit: Free Republican)

Today, 7 years after this “reset” relationship, the misspelled button may have been more accurately symbolic then earlier believed, as we learn that a decade-low one percent (1%) of Russians approveof American leadership, according to new poll results released May 26, 2016 by U.S. pollster Gallup.

In fact, Gallup said that Russia’s view of the U.S. is the lowest in the world and comes at a time when Moscow is flexing its military muscle in hotspots like Syria, while Obama is struggling to use force.

(Editor: So THIS is what progressive politics looks like and achieves. Not sure I get what all the fuss and hoopla is about. Perhaps this definition of “progressive” is what they are referring to:

pro·gres·sive

pr…ôňą…°resiv/
adjective
(of a disease or ailment) increasing in severity or extent. (“progressive liver failure”)

And no matter how the loony left paints this, it does matter what the world thinks of America. I’m not referring to a mentally-weak, neurotic need to be noticed, even (God forbid) loved.

I’m talking about an America that in a very real sense is at risk of attack and/or even sudden destruction… if her enemies think that for even 5 minutes, they catch Her asleep at the switch.

Overly dramatic? Fear-mongering? Consider the things Russia has done when America has been wide awake:

March 2012 – at the beginning of the now 5-year Syrian Civil War, America supported a measure to bring sanctions to the Assad government, which was vetoed by Russia, to the frustration of all.

Tupolev_Tu-95_Bear,_Russia_-_Air_Force_JP7607398July 2012 two Tu-95 Bears were intercepted by NORAD fighters in the air defense zone off the U.S. coast of Alaska, where they may have been practice-targeting Fort Greely and Vandenberg Air Force Base.

August 2012 – An Akula-class submarine had conducted a patrol within the Gulf of Mexico without being detected, raising alarms of the U.S. Navy’s anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

February 12, 2013 – just hours before the 2013 State of the Union Address, two Russian Tu-95 Bear strategic bombers equipped with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles circled the United States territory of Guam. Air Force F-15 jets based on Andersen Air Force Base were scrambled to intercept the aircraft. The Russian aircraft reportedly “were intercepted and left the area in a northbound direction.

russia-crimea-invasion-1April 2014 Р10,000 unmarked Russian soldiers seized the Crimean peninsula in Ukraine, an invasion that followed Ukraine’s ousting of a pro-Moscow leader. Despite denials from Russian President Vladimir Putin at the time that the troops belonged to Russia, he later admitted that he deployed them. Over 8,000 people, mostly civilians, are killed.

th6KSNSO1BJuly 17, 2014 Malaysian Airlines flight MH17, a Boeing 777 flying from the Netherland to Malaysia’s capital, Kaula Lampur, disappears from radar and the jumbo jet is soon discovered blown to pieces in a field in the Ukraine. The Russians are accused by the Ukrainians, in the midst of a war, of shooting it down with a surface to air missile, but the BBC thinks a military jet may have shot it down. 298 people are killed, the worst aviation disaster in 20 years.

September 30, 2015 Russia lands troops in Syria and immediately begins over 1,000 airstrikes against stated “ISIS” targets (though ISIS resources were never anywhere nearby). As a result of Russia’s efforts, it’s estimated that 400 settlements and 10,000 km2 of land was reclaimed for Syrian government

As we reported earlier in the year, Russian fighter jets staged a mock attack on a US ship in the Black Sea region.

The Russians in fact have made it a bit of an art form to mock and ridicule the United States, especially her lightning-rod President. For example, the New York Post reported last month that:

A Russian company is trying to cash in on the chilly relations between Moscow and Washington by releasing an ice cream called ‚ÄúLittle Obama‚ÄĚ, irritating U.S. officials.

thC3Y8Y272The product, called ‚ÄúObamka‚ÄĚ in Russian, is glazed with chocolate and its wrapping features an image of a smiling young African boy, wearing an ear ring and holding an ice cream.

You might think that this is just harmless business fun – a little big-boy teasing?

No America, it’s time to wake up. You can’t afford 4 years of Hillary Clinton as President. I fear you couldnt afford the years you already had with her as Secretary of State either. An indictment or several on the former First Lady might assist in balancing that out.

On March 6, 2009 (seven years ago last month) U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was in Geneva, Switzerland to present her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov with¬†a red button with the Russian text “–Ņ–Ķ—Ä–Ķ–≥—Ä—É–∑–ļ–į”.

It was intended that this would be the Russian word for “reset“. Clinton explained that she wanted to reset relations between Russia and the United States, which had stagnated and even deteriorated over the previous decade.

However, Lavrov explained to Clinton that “–Ņ–Ķ—Ä–Ķ–≥—Ä—É–∑–ļ–į” actually means “overcharge“. The two pressed the button anyway, with Clinton explaining that the American side meant it; they wanted a new era of better ties.¬† You can see the video here, one of the more cringe-worthy moments in recent diplomatic history.

Now fast forward 7 years.¬† Where has this “reset” of US – Russian relations gotten us?¬† Or has it been in fact an “overcharge”?

Early on, things were great РAmerica helped Russia enter the World Trade Organization (WTO), as his predecessor Bill Clinton had done with China years before.  While the former has not yet had time to play out on the world stage, the latter with China has been an international financial disaster for the U.S.

By 2013, however, things became more strained, thanks to Edward Snowden and Russia’s support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. One widely shared photograph (left) from¬†a June 17, 2013 G-8 meeting in Northern Ireland, is said to capture the mood of Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obam.¬†¬†Reports say that¬†US President Obama later cancelled another meeting with Russian President Putin, after Russia granted asylum to US whistleblower Edward Snowden.

In 2014, the fall of Viktor Yanukovych’s pro-Russia government in Ukraine created a crisis.¬† Soon thereafter, the Russian military invaded the Ukrainian territory of Crimea.¬† On March 1, 2014, President Obama phoned President Putin and spent over 90 minutes on the phone with him, as the United States condemned the invasion,¬†and called on Russia to withdraw its forces back to bases in Crimea. The U.S. later issued a “strongly worded statement”.

That situation escalated on March 15, 2014, when Russia vetoed a U.N. Security Council draft resolution that declared a planned referendum on the status of Ukraine’s Crimea region. Samantha Power, the American ambassador to the United Nations, was so furious (photo right), she was seen¬†marching over to her Russian counterpart, Vitaly Churkin, in the Security Council meeting room, and blasting him in public with a “strongly worded” piece of her mind.¬† At least someone in the American government has balls.

The Syrian Civil War has been a political and PR disaster for America, namely because Russia simply flew and sailed into the Syrian area, set up shop and ran their own show, completely outside of the U.S. or international community’s thoughts.¬† Sentiment after that has grown increasingly ugly between the superpowers.

Now, this week, the situation has grown dire.¬† The USS Donald Cook, a guided missile destroyer on exercises this week¬†in the Baltic Sea, came under what was later chacterized as a “mock attack” by several Russian SU-24 attack aircraft on April 11, making 20 passes over the American ship, some coming as close as 1,000 yards away, but at one point screaming less than 100 feet above the destroyer¬†as they flew over it.¬† The following¬†day, two Russian helicopters circled over the ship taking photos.¬† Then, two jet fights again made numerous close¬†passes to¬†the ship.

As CBS New reported:

Russian jets made provocatively close passes to an American warship, as tensions continue between Moscow and Washington over the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria.

A senior defense official told CBS News that two recent incidents were ‚Äúmore aggressive than anything we‚Äôve seen in some time.‚ÄĚ

The first, on April 11, involved two Russian SU24s, when the USS Donald Cook left the Polish port of Gdynia and was about 70 nautical miles from Kaliningrad in the Baltic Sea. The official said the Russian jets made 20 passes of the American ship and flew within 1,000 yards at an altitude of just 100 feet.

In the second incident on April 12, two Russian KA27 Helix helicopters flew several circles around the Donald Cook, apparently taking photos, after which two jets again made numerous close passes of the ship in what the official described as ‚ÄúSimulated Attack Profile.‚ÄĚ (Emphasis mine)

landscape-1448465103-moscowThese simulated attacks come days after the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said the ‚Äúinability to predict the leadership plans and intentions of the Putin regime in Russia‚ÄĚ constituted the ‚Äúbiggest intelligence failure‚ÄĚ since 9/11.¬† I agree – Putin was given far too much room to grown and maneuver in his early rule and now this ‚Äúreset‚ÄĚ has inarguably been a miserable failure,¬†with Russia is re-introducing the possibility of great power conflict to Europe.

The Russian military is once again rising up in power. After miserable outcomes in Afghanistan and the First Chechen War, the Russian military has rallied, winning a messy victory in the Second Chechen War, winning its short conflict with Georgia in 2008, invading the Ukraine and rapidly annexing the Crimea, and most recently stabilizing the Assad regime and winning back hundreds of square miles of lost Syrian territory.

China's military buildup is a global concern

In fact, universally President Obama has been a foreign relations flop.  China is growingly aggressive in the Pacific, North Korea is testing long-range missiles, Russia invaded the Ukraine and is flexing its military muscles in Europe and the Middle East, Iran is gaining new economic strength and access to international arms markets, and of course ISIS is extending its reach well beyond the Middle East.

GOOD JOB, DICKHEAD. And to think, the Democrats may just nominate for their Presidential¬†candidate one of the architects of this mess – a lady who couldn’t even hire a proper Russian translator to come up with the word “reset”.

America, your nation is in such good hands with Democrats.

ISIS and Israel Showdown Looms

The United States and Russia may be hitting ISIS harder than anyone, with constant attacks from the air, but Israel is the only country the Islamic State group truly fears, according to a German reporter who spent 10 days with the organization in Iraq and Syria.

J√ľrgen Todenh√∂fer (Credit: http://www.warumtoetestduzaid.de/)

‚ÄúThe only country ISIS fears is Israel,” J√ľrgen Todenh√∂fer, 75, who visited the territory under the control of ISIS accompanied by his son, told British online news site Jewish News. “They told me they know the Israeli army is too strong for them.‚ÄĚ

In 2014,¬†Todenh√∂fer, a former member of the German Parliament from Chancellor Angela Merkel‚Äôs Christian Democratic Union, visited Syria and Iraq, becoming the first Western journalist to be allowed extensive access to¬†¬†ISIS territory – and to return safely from the trip.¬†He has since written¬†the book “My 10 Days in the Islamic State“, published in 2015.

US airstrikes hit ISIS targets in Syria. (Credit: WN.com)

In a subsequent interview he explains that ISIL is a reaction to violent actions taken by¬†western countries in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. ‚ÄúThey think they can defeat U.S. and U.K. ground troops, who they say have no experience in city guerrilla or terrorist strategies. But they know the Israelis are very tough as far as fighting against guerrillas and terrorists,‚ÄĚ Todenh√∂fer told Jewish News

At the same time, Israel does not seem to fear the same thing with ISIS.¬† Former head of IDF Intelligence Amos Yadlin on Wednesday expressed a contrarian opinion on the dangers of the terrorist group ISIS, responsible for the beheadings of ¬†journalists, as well as thousands of ‚Äúinfidels‚ÄĚ in Iraq and Syria who do not subscribe to their particular brand of Islam. According to Yadlin, there’s nothing to fear from ISIS.

Nor should they worry.  The Israeli Defense Forces is one of the most powerful militaries on earth Рwith 176,500 active soldiers, and a reserve force of 450,000 that can be called up at any moment, they dwarf the estimated military strength of ISIS (approx 20,000 fighters) by nearly 30 to 1.

But Israel’s secret strength is in its mandatory military service for all 18 year olds in¬†the country, both male and female. ¬†In fact, the 1.6 million females trained and fit for service gives¬†Israel the greatest¬†shoeing¬†of female military might¬†possibly in world history. ¬†

Mandatory conscription means that today, over 1/2 of Israel Рmore than 3 million people Рhave been actively trained and have served in the Israeli forces over the last 60+ years.

Israeli Merkava tanks near Israel-Gaza Strip border. (Credit: The Guardian)

Then there’s the equipment – while ISIS apparently is in possession of a few tanks, Israel’s military equipment is vast: with¬†over 3,700 tanks, 6,000 armoured personnel carriers, 1,200+ artillery pieces, 680 F15 and F16 fighter jets, over 50 naval ships and even 5 submarines, the legendary armies of Israel could even take on a military the size of America’s

Speaking at an Ashkelon College in September 2014, Yadlin said that despite the shocking videos the group released showing the beheadings of journalists Steve Sotloff and James Foley, ‚Äúthere is no real reason to fear. ISIS is very good at media relations, and using the media to frighten people. They murder their captives in a shocking manner in order to get media attention.‚ÄĚ

Defense Attaché at the Israeli Embassy Maj. Gen. Amos Yadlin. (Credit: Public Doman)

The terrorist group may have been bolstered this week when Russia announced it was suspending their air strikes in Syria, declaring their mission a success. ¬†Yet ISIS remains as strong as ever in the embattled country torn apart by a four-year Civil War, so clearly they were not Russia’s intended¬†target. However, Russia “obliterated” a key ISIS base in Syria in October 2015 with a series of airstrikes, so they did have some supporting role to play in the conflict that can’t be denied.

President Vladimir Putin stated yesterday (Thursday, March 17) however¬†that Russia could scale up its military presence in Syria again “within hours” and would still bomb terrorist groups there despite a partial draw-down of forces ordered after military successes.

However, it’s their definition of what constitutes a “terrorist” group that has some scratching their heads.¬† And though they continually state they are “bombing ISIS targets”, they aren’t in the right part of the country to be able to make that claim.

As ISIS and Israel move toward a showdown, stay tuned, this story is definitely not yet fully told, and we will bring it to you as it unfolds.

President Obama Intentionally Saved ISIS Oilwells

Islamic IslamRising: Special feature to the Calling Out Community,

Charlie Rose talks to Mike Morell
Mike Morell & Charlie Ros

On November 25, 2015, former Obama CIA Director Mike Morell appeared on¬†PBS’ Charlie Rose show, and¬†dropped a bombshell that the Media Party didn’t at first pay much attention to.¬† During that hour, Morell surprised many by claiming that President Obama¬†has intentionally not ordered the¬†bombing of the oil fields now controlled by Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS):

“we didn‚Äôt go after oil wells, actually hitting oil wells that ISIS controls, because we didn‚Äôt want to do environmental damage and we didn‚Äôt want to destroy that infrastructure.”

maxresdefaultISIS depends on those oil fields for the majority of its operating revenues, and U.S. Air Force jets have specifically avoided bombing them because the White House was concerned about adding to the carbon emissions that promote global warming.¬† In the DESERT?¬† Is that seriously not the dumbest thing you’ve heard so far this year?

According to the IBT Pulse Newsletter, ISIS continues to sell about 100,000 barrels of oil at an average of about $20/barrel (discounted), for a take of $2 million every day.  ISIS generals may be radical whacko jihadists Рbut the privates are reportedly soldiers for hire who are first and foremost trying to earn a paycheque, and are not merely fighting for some twisted ideology.

Many experts believe that if we can cut off this ISIS cash stream, the Islamic State army would quickly disappear –¬†making President Obama’s¬†decision especially bewildering and exasperating.¬† By putting the priority on a potentially minor impact on the local environment¬†rather than on the global security concerns that such inaction may allow and even encourage, ISIS was able to “miss the bullet” and continue its murderous¬†rampage through the Western world, killing people at random.

220px-USAF_F-16A_F-15C_F-15E_Desert_Storm_edit2
USAF jets over Kuwaiti fires (1991)

This brings back¬†stark memories of the destruction of the Kuwait oil fields back in April 1991.¬† Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi army set between 605 and 732 oil wells on fire during the first Gulf War, as they retreated from Kuwait.¬†¬†Almost immediately, the #looneyleftwing was out in full force, predicting an environmental disaster to come:

  • Paul Crutzen, a noted atmospheric scientist, predicted that a ‚Äúnuclear winter‚ÄĚ might ensue with a cloud of smoke covering half the Northern Hemisphere for at least 100 days.
  • U.S. astronomer and best-selling author Carl Sagan argued that the effects of the destruction of Kuwaiti oil fields could be comparable to the explosion of the volcano Tambora in 1815, which produced ‚Äúa year without summer.‚ÄĚ

Struggling camels silhouetted against a 1991 oil fire at Al-Ahmadi oil field, Kuwait  (Credit: Steve McCurry)

Ummmm nope, neither of those things happened, though some of the fires burned into November that year, releasing 1.5 billion barrels of oil into the environment, the largest oil spill in human history.

Even so, atmospheric scientist Patrick K. Dowling wrote¬†in his paper, ‚ÄúThe Meteorological Effects of the Kuwaiti Oil Fires,‚ÄĚ that the smoke only affected the weather pattern throughout the Persian Gulf and surrounding region during the periods that the fires were burning in 1991. A 1992 National Institutes of Health study found that emissions of carbon dioxide from those fires accounted for only 2% of global emissions.

The Kuwait oil fields produced about 2 million barrels per day before the Gulf War ‚ÄĒ at least 20 times as much as the ISIS oil wells generate. The Kuwaiti fires dwarf anything that potentially destroyed ISIS oil wells could produce in terms of harmful environmental effects.¬† So it would be completely rational and logical to destroy this critically important cash-generator for ISIS.¬† NOW.

Su27-Night-Ramp-800
Russian SU-27 fighter jet

Thank God, my friend, one air force completely agreed with that assessment – and on November 20, 2015, Russian fighter jets¬†attacked a convoy of over 500 oil trucks illegally carrying petroleum and crude oil from ISIS fields to their territories in Iraq (see this article’s Featured Image).¬† A few days prior (November 16), Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he had recently told his G20 colleagues that 40 countries including G20 nations are financially helping ISIS by purchasing this illegal oil.

The day before the November 20 convoy attack, Russian General Valery Gerasimov announced that Russia would be allocating 25 strategic bombers for the Syrian mission. Separately, Russian Air Forces will be strengthened with advanced 37 aircraft, including eight Su-34 bomber jets and four Su-27 fighter jets.

So while Canada pulls out of the air strike campaign altogether, and the U.S. worries more about global warming than getting the bad guys, Moscow is more than doubling the strike potential of the Russian Air Force in the region.

Once again, Obama says he wants to fight terrorism, but everything else comes first.  And once again, if you need to get something done properly in the world, you have to call Vladimir Putin.

CNN Wipes Israel Off the Map – Literally

IsraelIsrael Is Forever: Special feature to the Calling Out Community, Posted November 25, 2015.

The Media Party. Big Media. The “news media”. Network news. We all have a ¬†favorite moniker for these bastions of global information, these titans of “journalistic excellence”, these… quacks at times who couldn’t tell the truth or get the story right if there was a gun to their collective heads.

No matter whether you are Left or Right wing politically – or one of those rare breed who have successfully clipped those wings in favor of true independent thought – you have likely noted either with joy or frustration one simple fact. Almost down to a station-by-station confirmation…

Nearly all of them despise Israel.

There are notable exceptions of course – Fox News Network in the United States and The Rebel Media in Canada tend to have a more balanced and dare I say even progressive view of Israel.

As for the remaining¬†motley crew of media hacks, they aren’t actually going to tell you that they can’t stand Israel, as they still have to show a measure of political correctness (though even PC thought favours Antisemitism hands-down). ¬†Often they speak with passive-aggressive finger-shaking¬†disdain for Israel and the Jews.¬† And sometimes, they show their disgust¬†as much by what they don’t say as what they do.

Media bias toward Israel
Media bias toward Israel

An excellent article on this subject was published in the November 30,¬†2014 issue of The Atlantic, entitled “What the Media Gets Wrong About Israel“.¬† I strongly encourage every thinking person, and every supporter of Israel, to read this article.¬†¬†In it,¬†journalist Matti Friedman¬†opens with a powerful observation:

During the Gaza war this summer, it became clear that one of the most important aspects of the media-saturated conflict between Jews and Arabs is also the least covered: the press itself. The Western press has become less an observer of this conflict than an actor in it, a role with consequences for the millions of people trying to comprehend current events, including policymakers who depend on journalistic accounts to understand a region where they consistently seek, and fail, to productively intervene.

One dictionary states that “journalism” is:

The activity or profession of writing for newspapers or magazines or of broadcasting news on radio or television.

Perhaps journalists have gone astray by the definition of what constitutes “news”. ¬†Walter Cronkite would not have done a piece about Beyonc√© and Jay-Z’s baby – it just wouldn’t have happened. ¬†And when reporting the news from the battlefront, his calibre of reporter would not have felt it necessary to tell us how his vehicle was shot at by armed militants in the conflict, when nothing was further from the truth. ¬†The story itself was captivating enough – we don’t need our journalists to actually be actors on the stage. ¬†Thanks for that punch in our trust gut, Brian Williams.

There are times, however, when Big Media steps so¬†over the line into the Twilight Zone that everyone, no matter their political persuasion, is left saying “what the _____?”

cnn251115Such is the case with mighty CNN, the self-described on their current advertising sales sheet “World’s News Leader”, who this week visibly and legibly manifested proof of a deep-seated hostility toward Israel. ¬†Quite simply, in a nutshell – they removed Israel from the map (above).¬† Literally.

In a recent article about airstrikes being carried out over Syria today in the conflict there, a map of the region was published, showing the major cities the area.¬† All of the other nations in the region show the name of a city and it’s capital (Beirut, Lebanon; Amman, Jordan, etc.) and Jerusalem is shown representing Israel (though Tel Aviv is the capital).¬† No problem – many of us believe Jerusalem is the true capital of Israel.

But wait, what’s this?¬† The nation of modern Israel, now nearly 7 decades old with further 3,000 years of continuous Jewish presence in the region, is not mentioned on the map.¬† What does appear, however, is some place called “Palestina” – a Spanish or Portuguese variation of “Palestine”.

That is the only name on the map that doesn’t seem to be in English, so it completely out of place – not to mention the fact that “Palestine” hasn’t actually appeared on a map in, oh…..67 years.¬† Last time I checked, Palestina was real as Narnia, Mordor and Neverland.

Cair Paravel, the royal palace of Narnia - which like Palestina is also imaginary
Cair Paravel, the royal palace of Narnia – which like Palestina is also imaginary

Now, this was not just some printing error or a mistaken use of an old map. ¬†THERE ARE NO DIGITAL MAPS that would have the name of a fictional country named Palestina on them. ¬†Like ZERO out there.¬†¬†And let’s not forget, this is the world’s news leader, according to their own press – with 45 news bureaus around the world.

Their self-hosted Inside CNN webpage, designed for teachers and students, has a very revealing FAQ:

Q: What kinds of checks and balances does CNN use to make sure the stories are accurate?

A: An average story is said to go through nine sets of eyes before making air. It is also the job of copy editors to proofread stories for grammatical and factual errors. News is verified three times from three different sources before it is broadcast on our air. (Emphasis mine)

So one must therefore conclude that Israel was deleted and Palestina was added in its place – on purpose?

Outrageous right? ¬†Well, HonestReporting reporters contacted CNN about the error, as did likely thousands of people.¬† Their response? ¬†No “oops sorry”. ¬†They just removed the map and put up a photo of airstrikes in Syria in its place – which is actually what the story was about in the first place.

In relation to the story on the Syrian Civil War, no political spin about Israel was necessary – they are not even militarily present in Syria in the battle against ISIS.

This is just bizarre.  It reminds me of three things:

Disney really wants you to remember who makes this movie, and get that logo embedded in your mind as much as possible.
Disney really wants you to remember who makes this movie, and get that logo embedded in your mind as much as possible.

Advertisers have used images for years that subliminally catch your mind but not necessarily consciously – the message might be received, but you wouldn’t even realize it at the time

Perhaps you’ve played a video game or DVD that had a hidden bit of information that could only be accessed if you did certain things with the remote control or played a certain level a¬†certain way.¬† Usually it was the signature of the game designer – like video graffiti¬†– called an Easter eggs?¬† Was that what this was?

GermaniaI watched a documentary recently about Adolf Hitler and his architect Albert Speer who had grand plans for a world empire with its headquarters in the old city of Berlin, which would be redeveloped and renamed¬†Germania.¬† Their plans were both genius and insane (and even architecturally impossible), but they definitely thought that a new can of paint and a new name would somehow take away the international disdain for Berlin as a world capital.¬† They were pretty much dead wrong.¬† Now they’re just dead, and their plans along with them.

Some ideas, like blatant Antisemitism and the groups propagating it, just never die.

Friday the 13th “Acts of War”

Once again, radical Islamic terrorists have struck at the heart of France – the city of Paris – and with devastating results.

The scenes were heartbreaking, as France faced its most deadly assault since the Second World War on Friday the 13th (November 2015).  With 129 dead and over 350 injured, it follows only ten months after three terrorist attacks in the French capital took the lives of 17 people.

images2ZPARCV8French President Francois Hollande ¬†condemned the attack as an “act of war” and vowed that France “will be merciless toward the barbarians of Islamic State group.”

An emergency security meeting was called to plan the French government’s response, and upon completion, Hollande declared three days of national mourning and raised France’s security to its highest level. In a very blunt statement, the French¬†President declared:

“ISIS is a terrorist army … a jihadist army, against France, against the values that we defend everywhere in the world, against what we are: A free country that means something to the whole planet.”

He vowed to show “no mercy” to ISIS militants – and earlier today (Sunday, November 15), CNN broke the news at 1:23 PM that in fact he had already kept his word:

The French Ministry of Defense has announced what it called a major bombardment of Raqqa, Syria, an ISIS stronghold.

In one hour Sunday there were at least 20 airstrikes on the city, according to both a pro-ISIS news agency and the activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently.

1086023_630x354The French have not backed down from the war rhetoric Рthey have in fact launched a large-scale military operation in response.  Which brings me to a very important point regarding the North American response to this tragedy.

Article 5 of the Charter of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, ratified on April 4, 1949 states:

Article 5

NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium
NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium

The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Security Council. Such measures shall be terminated when the Security Council has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security.

Graeme MacKay, The Hamilton Spectator - Tuesday October 7, 2014 ISIS mission reveals Liberal divide When Justin Trudeau leads the Liberal Party of Canada Monday in opposing a Canadian military mission against ISIS in Iraq, he will do so against the better judgment of many of his party√ēs grandees, who between them have influenced Canada√ēs military response to global conflicts, from Rwanda and Kosovo to Afghanistan and previous wars in Iraq. The genocidal jihadists, including Canadians and other Westerners, who fight under the banner of ISIS √íhave to be whacked, and whacked good,√ď Lloyd Axworthy, a former Liberal foreign affairs minister who aimed to put √íhuman security√ď at the heart of foreign affairs, said on CTV last week. √íIf you really want to stop them, you√ēre going to have to give a full-court press.√ď He was not alone in supporting the action Mr. Trudeau has vowed to reject, or in undermining the leader√ēs rhetoric before he used it. Former interim Liberal leader Bob Rae, for example, rejected the comparison, later made by Mr. Trudeau, to the √ífiasco√ď of the 2003 Iraq War. Former Liberal Senator Rom¬éo Dallaire dismissed a campaign of air strikes without ground troops as pointless, and former Liberal cabinet minister Ujjal Dosanjh calling for √írobust√ď Canadian military action. All these comments were made before Mr. Trudeau vowed to oppose the government motion for the ISIS mission. But by accusing Prime Minister Stephen Harper of using √íoverheated and moralistic rhetoric √Č to justify a war,√ď Mr. Trudeau has chosen a strategy that is likely to colour his political fortunes for months to come. And by favouring purely humanitarian action over military force, Mr. Trudeau seems to have broken with many of the party√ēs eminences √Ď if such a rift is already apparent, it could well go deeper. Graeme MacKay, The Hamilton Spectator – Tuesday October 7, 2014

In one of his first official acts as Prime Minister, Prime Minister Trudeau called his American counterpart and philosophical ally, President Barack Obama.¬†¬†Trudeau advised the media that, during the October 23¬†phone call, he iterated Canada’s intent to pull our CF-18s out of the airstrike program against ISIS.¬† At the time, the leftwing patted its own back in self-congratulation.

That decision was meant to be ideological, and to show that Canada doesn’t get pushed around by the U.S.¬† Well, at least we’ll assume those were the goals, because frankly it just came across as stupid as hell.¬† ISIS is a known threat to Canada, has even stated previously that they will kill Canadians in their own bedrooms.¬† This incredibly immature Prime Minister, and equally pacifist Cabinet and party, honestly believes that if they just back off of ISIS, they will stop threatening us.¬† Again, stupid as hell.

Even more astounding than the government’s outrageous backtrack on international commitments and the security of Canadians is the Canadian news media’s response to it, in light of France’s current nightmare scenario. They seem incredulous – even openly stating their opposition – to Trudeau’s announced decision to continue with his plans to resettle refugees and pull our jet fighters from the fight with ISIS.¬† Some comments include:

  • Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard, a Liberal, reiterated his opposition to Trudeau‚Äôs position to shut down the combat mission even as he told reporters that Canada should not step back from its commitment to accept Syrian refugees.¬† ‚ÄúThe democratic world is at war,‚ÄĚ Couillard told reporters. ‚ÄúIt is naive to think that we are not facing a state of war, different from the wars we have known but equally threatening.‚ÄĚ

“The fight against ISIS requires a strong humanitarian response, but also a¬†military response,”¬†Rona Ambrose, Leader of the Opposition, told reporters¬†Saturday. “It’s important that we remain resolute and support our allies.” Ambrose said Prime¬†Minister¬†Justin¬†Trudeau¬†will have the full support of the Official Opposition if he chooses to¬†reverse his position on Canada’s role in the¬†airstrikes.(CBC

Canada’s current government, under Prime Minister Trudeau, has absolutely no right to unilaterally ¬†pull out of NATO obligations – the organization has protected the nations of the North Atlantic for 67 years.

The Friday the 13th attacks by ISIS/ISIL, unlike any other terrorist attacks seen on a large scale in recent history, were a coordinated effort by a Sunni Muslim jihadist terrorist group that is in fact an army Рwith tanks, armed personnel carriers, rocket launchers and many other sophisticated weapons, as well as an estimated 20,000 troops, according to the Telegraph.

How do they afford to arm themselves?  The Foreign Policy site reported:

ISIS captured many tanks from the Iraqi army, including the relatively modern Soviet T-72, of which it may have as many as 10.
ISIS captured many tanks from the Iraqi army, including the relatively modern Soviet T-72, of which it may have as many as 10.

Much of the Islamic State’s arms and ammunition were captured on the battlefield, but intelligence reports have suggested that the group’s income from oil sales and other sources is high enough to finance purchases of additional weapons directly from the companies and dealers that routinely profit from strife in the Middle East.

While the complete list of countries is unknown, Newsweek stated on September 16 that the United States, Russia, France, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Israel and Iran are all fighting ISIS.¬† Canada wasn’t mentioned I guess in error.

ISIS territory mapped (The Economist, June 2015)

Unlike Al Qaeda, Boko Haram or any other previously seen terrorist group, ISIS has a set geographic area of the world in which they are headquartered and operate – or more appropriately to state, which they have majority “control” over.

Territory is both being conquered and lost by ISIS on an almost daily basis. In fact, the venerable New York Times reported, on the morning of Friday the 13th, that several factions of Kurdish and Yazidi fighters had just retaken the city of Sinjar from ISIS fighters.

They have a “capital city” of sorts – in Raqqa, Syria – which is exactly where French fighter pilots have attacked just today.

I’ve had it with President Obama and his pacifist BS. I’ve had it with “Prime Minister” Trudeau and his weak, emasculated, pathetic (I’m trying not to swear so this’ll have to do) world philosophy.

As my beloved home-away-from-home Paris was burned, bombed and blown up, over 350 hundred were rushed to hospitals, and 129 were driven to the morgue, in a series of coordinated attacks on Friday the 13th (not likely a coincidental date) I grew angry enough watching the news clips to fly over there, grab a gun and start defending her.

What did the two pathetic leftwing pantywaists have to say? Obama called it an “attack on humanity” – which basically dismissed it from being an attack on a sovereign nation like France, so he could cover his bases possibly if the NATO Charter was invoked; or an attack on a Western power, because frankly this socialist doesn’t give a damn about the West, including his own country.¬† But at least the US is still fighting ISIS regardless.

Justin-TrudeauPrime Minister Justin Trudeau offered ‚Äúall of Canada‚Äôs support‚ÄĚ to France on Friday night in the wake of ‚Äúdeeply worrying‚ÄĚ terrorist attacks.

ALL of our support? That doesn’t include our military obviously, as he just ordered them out of the fight against ISIS, and confirmed 24 hours ago that, regardless of the horror played out Paris, that the stupidity would continue.

Trudeau is giving lip service to mass murder. We should be ashamed of this asshole. I know I am.¬† It wasn’t an attack on humanity – it was an attack on a Western power, the second in France alone in 10 months. Both were horrific events that brought the world to a standstill.

I’m sorry to remind both of you pantywaists this, but France is a member of NATO. French President Hollande has declared the Friday the 13th terrorist attacks an ACT OF WAR. Under the NATO Charter,¬† both Canada and the United States may¬†have a legal responsibility to come to the aid of a member nation when attacked in an act of war.

The Jerusalem Post has asked the question – will France invoke Article 5 of the NATO Charter, as NATO did after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States.¬† The Post doesn’t think France will actually do it, however.

Regardless, how dare¬†you violate a 67-year old international accord for your own ideological purposes? This must be discussed by the people and/or the Parliament of Canada.¬† Canada deserves better leadership than this.¬† We are pulling out of Syria only because air strikes were started under the Conservatives.¬† Would you have pulled out of D-Day for the same reasons?¬† The Korean War?¬† We think you would –¬†which is why we will never trust you, nor acknowledge you as our Prime Minister.¬† You are a coward, a sham leader, and the global village idiot.

ISIS / ISIL Terror Group’s #2 Leader… Is Dead

by Calling Out Community, Posted August 21, 2015

The ISIL #2 Leader, Fadhil Ahmad al-Hayali, killed this week by a U.S. drone
BREAKING NEWS: As I was about to put a story to bed about the growing power and influence of the ISIS – Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militant group (or ISIL – Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant as it’s known now), CBC News broke the news today (Friday, August 21)  that National Security Council spokesman Ned Price had just issued the following press release:

Fadhil Ahmad al-Hayali, also known as Hajji Mutazz … was killed in a U.S. military airstrike on [Tuesday, August 18, 2015] while travelling in a vehicle near Mosul, Iraq, along with an ISIL media operative known as Abu Abdullah.

According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, He was seen as ‘senior deputy’ to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and had reportedly been involved in the offensive that led ISIS to capture Mosul, Iraq last summer.  He also was allegedly involved in moving large numbers of weapons and supplies and people between the organization’s strongholds in Iraq and Syria.

Price said that the militant was involved in the terrorist group’s ‘finance, media, operations, and logistics,’ according to the Wall Street Journal.

The U.K.’s Daily Mail reported today (August 21, 2015) that back in December 2014:

a-drones

…intelligence officials said that multiple ISIS leaders had been killed in airstrikes including a man called Haji Mutazz. At the time the militant, believed to be from the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar, also reportedly went by Abu Muslim al-Turkmani.  Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff [General Martin Dempsey] also erroneously cited the death at the time, according to NBC News

A US official told NBC News on Friday [August 21, 2015] that Dempsey either misspoke or was misquoted in December. A source also told CBS News that the ISIS member [killed in December] was not the group’s ‘number two’, but was still a very significant figure to the group in Iraq.

The Defense Department said in December that Mutazz had previously served time at the former U.S. military prison Camp Bucca, located on the Kuwait/Iraq border.  The infamous camp (named for Ronald Bucca, a Fire_Marshal who died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack) was reported by the U.K.’s The Independent newspaper to have detained some of the Iraq War‚Äôs most radical jihadists.

Former U.S. military prison Camp Bucca, now shut down in 2009 by the Obama administration. 90% of its inmates are again fighting for ISIS
Former U.S. military prison Camp Bucca, now shut down in 2009 by the Obama administration. 90% of its inmates are again fighting for ISIS

On 17 September 2009, only 8 months after Obama was sworn in for his first term as President, the US military announced that the prison camp would be closed.  Hundreds of the remaining inmates at that time were freed, 90% of whom created the group ISIS.  In fact, current leaders of ISIS / ISIL were held at one time in that camp.  No wonder then that The Independent’s entitled their feature article on this prison camp “The US prison that became the birthplace of ISIS“.  Thank you, Obama team, for that brilliant move.

Mutazz had previously served as a lieutenant colonel in Saddam Hussein’s Special Forces and was believed to have been involved with Al Qaeda at one point as well.  What a resume.

Rest… In Pieces.  One more martyr for ISIS – one more resident in Hell.

Holocaust. ¬†The very word itself causes us to bow our hearts and our heads, both in prayer and in horror. ¬†The origins of the word itself (from the Greek ŠĹĀőĽŌĆőļőĪŌÖŌÉŌĄőŅŌā hol√≥kaustos: h√≥los, “whole” and kaust√≥s, “burnt”) conjure up horrific images of the ovens of the Auschwitz crematorium. ¬†To take a moment to stop and¬†truly contemplete¬†what the smoke belching from those chimneys actually represented, we run the risk of facing complete insanity. ¬†Our¬†innocence was shot to pieces at Treblinka; our belief that¬†man is basically good was beaten to death at Sobibor; our hope for humanity’s future was ripped to shreds at Ravensbruck.

The Holocaust becomes more horrific, more difficult to digest, and more impossible to ignore, when one also considers that it was¬†systematically and intentionally¬†planned, and orchestrated¬†and executed with an evil, insane perfection that only the Third Reich could¬†muster. ¬†Every arm of Germany’s bureaucracy was involved in the logistics of the genocide, turning the Third Reich into “a genocidal state” (1). ¬†Our¬†hearts are broken with grief, more than¬†70 years later, to realize that Hitler’s “Final Solution to the Jewish Question” was unbelievably¬†close to… finalization.

The¬†numbers are staggering –¬†of the nine¬†million Jews who had resided in Europe before the Holocaust, approximately 66%¬†(or 6 million people) were mass-murdered – one¬†million of those being¬†children (2), almost completely shutting off¬†the entire future blood line of the Jewish race. ¬†Poland once had the largest Jewish population¬†in Europe – more than three million¬†– until¬†90% were¬†murdered¬†in the¬†Holocaust. ¬†Concentration camps were also filled¬†with¬†Gypsies, Poles, communists, homosexuals, Soviet POWs, and the mentally and physically disabled¬†–¬†in total, approximately 11 million people were killed, using a¬†network of¬†42,500 facilities in Germany and German-occupied territories to concentrate, confine, and kill Jews and other victims.¬†¬†Between 100,000 and 500,000 people were direct participants in the planning and execution of the Holocaust.

At the centre of this evil was the extermination camp system¬†Auschwitz-Birkenau¬†– though most may not know that it¬†was actually an organization of 48 camps, consisting¬†of Auschwitz I (the original camp), Auschwitz II‚ÄďBirkenau (a combination concentration/extermination camp), Auschwitz III‚ÄďMonowitz (a labor camp to staff an IG Farben factory), and 45 satellite camps. ¬†At the height of its horror, the camp processed and executed 25,000 people a day – with a final death toll of over one¬†million people. ¬†Today,¬†one outside wall at the camp bears a slogan, written in 5 languages –¬†the¬†simple phrase¬†“NEVER AGAIN”.

But less than 50 years later, we had already…. forgotten to never forget. ¬†On¬†April 6, 1994, the plane carrying the President of Burundi and¬†President Habyarimana of Rwanda (the latter a Hutu by race) was shot down over¬†Rigali, Rwanda’s capital. ¬†Almost immediately, the Hutu majority (85% of the population) in Rwanda pointed the finger of blame on the Tutsi minority (14%) that lived amongst them. What happened next was so horrific it beggars description. The Rwandan military whipped machete-armed civilians into a 100-day bloodbath¬†– and¬†an estimated 800,000 people¬†were killed. ¬†When it later came to light that the Hutu majority actually conspired to kill their own President &¬†party leader in order to start this genocide on purpose, one could be forgiven for going catatonic.

Now fast forward to¬†March 2011 ¬†and the¬†unrest¬†across the Middle East – a drama that played out on our nightly news broadcasts for weeks and weeks. ¬†This was something new, progressive, exciting – even liberating – as an¬†“Arab Spring” blew its winds of change across the Middle East. ¬†Egypt fell first, throwing a President in jail and electing one from the Muslim Brotherhood, with connections to Muslim fundamentalism.

In Syria, it began with¬†protests agains President Bashar al-Assad‘s government. ¬†It was hoped that this “Arab Spring cleaning”, if you will, would bring real change to this country. The conflict gradually morphed from prominent protests to an armed rebellion after months of military sieges and¬†local skirmishes between¬†pro-Assad government forces and opposition factions like ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) – now known as¬†ISIL (Islamic State of¬†Iraq and¬†the Levant) – the latter referring to the region of the Middle East including Cyprus, Hatay, Israel, Jordan,Lebanon, Palestine, and¬†Syria.

Since then, this conflict has broken out into an all-out Syrian Civil War. ¬†The chaos, human suffering and destruction has now reached almost Biblical proportions. ¬†Yet, to watch the vast majority of news networks today, you’d think the war was long since won and ended. ¬†“Out of sight, out of mind” has always been a problem in the West – we see what we want to see, and in fairness we will even tolerate and respond appropriately when we are shown what we¬†don’t want to see – as ISIS and Boka Haram have clearly demonstrated.

However, our society does not go looking for where pain and suffering exists.  There are always fringe elements that do Рbe they missionaries, aid organizations, or people that have a love for a particular country for various personal reasons.

The vast majority of the world has stopped caring and changed the channel on the issue, didn’t bother to learn about it in the first place ….or, as we suspect is likely the real problem –¬†we haven’t been given enough information by the only sources of media we have, in order to make an informed decision to care or not.

The Calling Out Community believes many residents in the West would care more if we knew how bad things had become Рbut our media outlets predominantly have failed us in reporting the scope of this crisis.  This has been corroborated by a news reporting analysis conducted on the Syrian catastrophe by the Conversation, a non-profit educational entity hosted by Boston University’s College of Communication, with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Reuters, University of Birmingham (UK), the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and many others.

In that analysis, The Conversation reported:

‚Ä謆“February 2015 has already seen some major developments in Syria‚Äôs four-year conflict. At the start of February, rebels launched¬†more than 100 rockets¬†into Damascus and the Assad regime fired mortars on areas of its own capital, hoping to discredit the insurgents. At least six people were killed in the attacks.

Then came almost 50 regime air strikes on opposition-held areas near Damascus, which killed at least 82 people. Another 25 were killed in Aleppo when a barrel bomb hit a bus on a roundabout.

Meanwhile, rebels also¬†claimed¬†to have blown up 30 men fighting for the Assad regime ‚Äď Hezbollah troops, Iranians, and Iraqis among them ‚Äď at a militia headquarters west of Damascus.

All this while US-led coalition air strikes were carried out in eastern Syria against the Islamic State (IS), with Jordan in particular vowing to ‚Äúwipe them from the face of the Earth‚ÄĚ after the group¬†murdered a captured pilot.”

The Conversation then noted that the largest Western media outlets were oddly silent about Syria during that same period of time:

“If you read The New York Times, you are unlikely to learn about much of this; the newspaper has no reporting from correspondents, only a Reuters report. The same is true of the Washington Post, CNN, and al-Jazeera English. And the BBC? As the attacks and the deaths mounted on February 5, its lead story was on the conviction of former pop star Gary Glitter on sexual assault charges; the corporation later made partial amends on its website with a story headlined Syria Conflict: Dozens Killed in Heavy Damascus Fighting.

However, both the BBC and Reuters articles relied heavily on the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which often passes off rumour and chatter gleaned from social media as a news ‚Äúnetwork‚ÄĚ inside Syria.”

How Bad Is It?

Recent warnings from aid groups in the region, and statistics gathered by government entities, now paint a picture of such overwhelming horror and catastrophe, the 15-member United Nations Security Council will need to either act now Рpossibly militarily Рor be held responsible for allowing this crime against humanity to continue.

According to a March 12, 2015 New York Times article, nearly 50% of Syria’s total population – over 7.6 million people –¬† have been forced¬†from their homes by the Civil War, with 3.9 million more – half of them children – seeking refuge in other countries, according¬† to figures collected from various United Nations agencies.¬† The website of the United Nations High Council on Refugees (UNHCR) reports that Syrians are now the world’s largest refugee population under their care.

Even though the numbers are staggering, for most people they just don’t hit home close enough. ¬†CNN tried a different twist on the story¬†this week¬†in order to bring the horror to our back door, first by reporting that the death toll has doubled every year for the last several years:

“Since civil war broke out there, 310,000 people have been killed, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Thursday. A year earlier, SOHR’s tally stood at 162,402. And the year before, the United Nations put the death toll at 70,000.”

According to the CNN report, this crisis is the equivalent of the complete emptying of Greater Boston and the displacement of its 7.5 million people, as well as the starvation of the entire population of Moscow, the capital of Russia.

From a Canadian perspective, imagine the combined metropolitan populations of Toronto and Calgary being forced from their homes Рover 7 million people Рbecause of a war that has literally ripped cities apart.  Visualize if you can, simultaneously,. that all the residents of  British Columbia have started to flee across the border, to live in the wilderness of Washington State Рwith only the clothes on their back.  No food, water, medicine, shelter.

Now picture that 50% of them are children. ¬†The United Nations¬†has held at least one donor’s conference from wealthy countries, to try to raise enough funds to feed and take care of those displacement. ¬†The budget? ¬†$6 billion.

“Not a dry eye in the room”

On Thursday, April 16,¬†Dr. Mohamed Tennari addressed the United Nations Security Council and showed a video of a suspected chlorine attack March 16 in his town of Sarmin in Idlib province, including graphic images of three children, ages 1 through 3, dying despite attempts to resuscitate them. The medical area was so cramped that one of the children was lying on top of their grandmother, who also died. ¬†“Everyone smelled bleach-like odours and heard the sound of helicopters,” Tennari later told reporters after showing them the video. He said most of the victims were women and children.

The U.S. and other council members have repeatedly blamed the Syrian government for such attacks, saying no one else in the civil war has helicopters to deliver the toxic chemicals. ¬†And this wasn’t some isolated incident of the Assad regime – there have been numerous reports in the New York Times over at least the past six months of similar situations:

September 10, 2014:

“GENEVA ‚ÄĒ A toxic chemical, probably chlorine, was used as a weapon to attack Syrian villages in April, an international watchdog agency confirmed on Wednesday.”

Opposition forces, including ISIS, are also guilty of the same atrocities, putting Syrian civilians in the middle:

October 23, 2014:

“BAGHDAD ‚ÄĒ American security officials said Thursday that they were looking into a new report that Islamic State militants had used chlorine gas as a weapon against Iraqi police officers last month near Balad, north of Baghdad.”

US Ambassador to the United Nations reacts 16 April 2015 to the shocking video showing infant victims of a chlorine gas attack in Syria -

The U.S., lead by Ambassador Samantha Power, has been trying to get consensus on a strong condemnation resolution against Syria, but to this point either China, Russia or Venezuela, all staunch allies of Assad’s regime, have vetoed them all down. ¬†However, chemical attacks on children can warm even the coldest hearts, and, in a rare sign of unity, on 6 March 2015, by¬†a vote of 14 in favour, zero against, and 1 abstention (Venezuela), the Council adopted¬†Resolution 2209 (2015) which:

Condemns¬†in the strongest terms any use of any toxic chemical, such as chlorine, as a weapon in the Syrian Arab Republic…[and]¬†Stresses¬†that those individuals responsible for any use of chemicals as weapons, including chlorine or any other toxic chemical, must be held accountable.”

Well now it’s happened again – and women and children are dying. ¬†The Security Council must act immediately to bring those responsible to justice.¬†

Everything’s going dark

The crisis has reached a point where it’s impact can now even be viewed… from space. ¬†

On 12 March 2015, The New York Times published an analysis of satellite photographs taken over Syria in March 2012 (the 1st anniversary of the start of the Civil War) and again in December 2014.  The photos clearly show that the country is now 83% darker at night than it was previously. Widespread migration is one of the main causes.

Hardest hit has been the city of Aleppo, an active battlefront for several years. ¬†Before the war it was home to more than 2 million people – roughly the size of Vancouver. ¬†But now…

“…the city is now 91 percent darker at night. Population migration, power cutoffs and destruction of infrastructure were the main reasons for the decline, according to Xi Li, one of the authors of the study.”

What can I do about it?

Reading the enormity of the situation, one could be forgiven for feeling very small, insignificant and useless to do anything about this crisis.  Not true Рthere are several practical things that we encourage everyone to consider doing.

GIVE Рthere are several humanitarian organizations on the ground in Syria and in neighbouring countries where millions of its refugees have fled.  We have provided links to their sites for your reference:

  1. Samaritan’s Purse¬†–¬†Islamic militants with ISIS continue their persecution of Christians and attacks against people in the Middle East. ¬†Samaritan’s Purse¬†has been actively on the ground for more than two years, caring for thousands of Iraqi and Syrian families who have fled for their lives with only the clothes their backs.
  2. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency¬†–¬†is the world‚Äôs leading organization aiding and protecting people forced to flee their homes due to violence, conflict and persecution.¬†
  3. Canadian Red Cross Р Syria Crisis Fund Рthe Syrian Red Crescent is actively working inside Syria to assist two million people a month who have been displaced, while the Syrian Red Cross assists with the refugees who have fled to other countries in the region.

PRAY– only God himself can resolve this problem now – with so many factions at war with one another, and so many innocent lives in the middle, there is no hope but a miracle for this region.

Islam… Is LAME

BrickArms, which specialises in making “custom moulded weapons and custom mini-figures” from basic Lego, sells this Osama Bin Laden figurine with miniature pistol, machine gun, rocket launcher and grenades for ¬£9.50 (about $14.00CA)

After reading the horrific headlines screaming at us all week, the average¬†John and Jane Citizen could be forgiven for becoming sick and tired of hearing the word “Islamic”, and all the negativity¬†the word¬†conveys.¬†This centuries-old faith group¬†has¬†quickly¬†become the greatest threat to our peace and safety in the world today and we frankly no longer care whether or not Islam is being¬†“hijacked” by radical groups or not. ¬†That excuse is as weak and lame as Islam’s image in the world today.

Let’s look at the news headlines from this PAST¬†WEEK ONLY, and you’ll¬†sense some¬†of the horrific blood-pouring going on around the world at the hands of these “followers” of Islam. ¬†WARNING: these images are graphic FOR A REASON. These devils should not be allowed to hide their horrific deeds behind stupid smokescreens¬†like:

– “Racist“. ¬†As they say down South, “this dog don’t hunt”. ¬†Racism¬†is defined as¬†“the idea that one’s own race is superior and has the right to¬†dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the¬†others.” ¬†Race is defined as “a group of persons related by common descent or heredity.” ¬†

According to a¬†Pew Research Center report,¬†The Future of the Global Muslim Population, as of January 27, 2011 there were approx. 1.6 billion Muslims¬†living¬†in each of the world’s¬†232 countries¬†– in fact, one can even find the Islamic prayer schedule online for 6 different research bases…on Antarctica!¬† Islam is the second-largest religion by number of adherents and the fastest-growing religion in the world. ¬†(Christianity’s 2.38 billion adherents¬†are also located in every country on earth, representing 33% of the world’s population). ¬†Therefore, as¬†Islam is not a singular race, but a global religion with reaches into every fabric of society ¬†– then you cannot logically be considered a racist if you¬†oppose this religious group’s belief systems and/or violent practices, you cannot be defined as a racist.

ISIS Threatens Canada
ISIS released a video on September 21, 2014 showing a masked gunman standing before captured Syrian troops digging their own graves. After speaking in what sounded like North American – possibly Canadian – English, he appeared to help execute the kneeling prisoners with a handgun.

– “Islamophobic” -Liberal media pundits love to throw around invented¬†“phobias” to explain away opposing¬†view points regarding the behaviours of certain segments of society. ¬†According to the Indexed Phobia List, there are approx. 530¬†diagnosable phobias plaguing humankind¬†that can be found in medical, psychiatric and other scholarly works – everything from¬†Ablutophobia¬†(fear of washing or bathing) to¬†Zoophobia¬†(fear of animals). ¬†Apologies ¬†to the¬†Toronto Star, CNN and the¬†New York Times, but¬†Islamophobia isn’t on the list.

Let’s get real for a moment. ¬†By definition, an Islamophobic is someone “afraid of Islam“. ¬†That¬†is absolutely¬†true in some parts of the world, and¬†not in the¬†philosophical sense. ¬†There are Christians around the world who fear for their very lives because of murderous¬†Islamic terrorists. ¬†In fact, a website was created after 9/11 to document each and every attack on the Christian community by Muslims worldwide, and they note that¬†so far in¬†2015 alone, there have already been 23 documented attacks in which 195 Christians were killed and 365 injured, mostly while at church services. ¬†The biggest source of these attacks has been in Nigeria at the hands of Boko Haram.

When one stands back and reviews the entire list documented by this one website alone, however, the truth becomes hard to hold on to.  Many of these crimes would not even be reported in some areas, as the Muslim-dominated authorities would bury the information along with the Christians killed. However, beginning with an October 1, 2001 attack on a Christian church in Tomata, Indonesia, when 3 people were killed, to the most recent incident on March 27, 2015 when al-Shabaab released a video showing the brutal execution of six young Christians:  1,242 documented attacks have taken place, killing 9,161 Christians, and injuring 12,002 more.  As the site points out:

This is a list of targeted acts of terrorism on Christian civilians and church workers by religious Muslims since September 11th, 2001.  These attacks have nothing to do with war, combat or insurgency.  The victims are innocent Christians who were specifically targeted and abused solely on account of their faith by those who claim their own religion as a motive.

Slogan for the 21st Century
Slogan for the 21st Century

So while Islamic terrorists in dozens of countries are killing Christians simply because of their faith, we in the West¬†can’t oppose their viewpoints, their religious intolerance, and the violence and murder perpetrated in the name of Allah and Mohammed even¬†verbally, without being name called, threatened or worse?

But folks, all the murder and mayhem we read about in the newspapers could soon come to a street near you.  As the National Post reported on September 21, 2014:

“In a 42-minute audio speech, Abu Muhammad Al-Adnani urged ISIS supporters to kill Canadians, Americans, Australians, French and other Europeans, regardless of whether they were civilians or members of the military.

‘Rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be. Do not ask for anyone‚Äôs advice and do not seek anyone‚Äôs verdict. Kill the disbeliever whether he is civilian or military, for they have the same ruling,’ he said.”

Well, I have news for you, ISIS thugs – this “Islamophobia” I just referred to doesn’t carry over very well in Canada. ¬†We¬†know you want us to be scared of you, but you apparently don’t know Canadian resolve or our history very well. ¬†That’s understandable, as you’re used to dealing with grade 3 educated sheep herders. ¬†Here’s a little history lesson:

  • During the War of 1812 against the U.S., our British troops¬†invaded Washington, DC¬†on August 24, 1814 and we set fire to¬†the US Capitol Building, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress and the chambers of the House and Senate – and then we burned the White House to the ground.
  • During World War I, out of a¬†nation of 8 million, Canada sent 650,000 men and women to the front lines, and over 66,000 gave their lives.
  • During World War II, out of 11 million residents, we amassed an army of over 1 million troops, the world’s third largest navy, the fourth largest air force and an army of six divisions. ¬†We were the only country¬†to successfully meet our targets¬†on D-Day in 1944, and our Canadian troops single-handedly liberated the Netherlands from the Nazis¬†by¬†May 5, 1945.
  • Today, we have¬†CF-18 fighter jets, and soon, we’ll be buying 65 more F-35s. ¬†We also have nearly 200 Leopard C2 and Leopard 2A4 tanks, over 100 Howitzer 105mm guns, and 50,000 troops. ¬†If you dare, come on over and show us what you got. ¬†But be prepared for a welcoming party like you’ve never seen before. ¬†We defeated the United States, Germany (twice) and Iraq in war – we’ll be happy to send as many of you to Hell as you want to go.

Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda, once said “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it”. Muslims use idiotically weak lies all the time about how their religion speaks about peace and brotherhood and other related blah blah blah, all to mask the real¬†truth – they are infiltrating our cities in order to someday overthrow our governments and bring in Islamic states. That’s what the Koran teaches them to do. The rest is all CRAP.

Let these pictures and headlines from the last week tell the story, and then ask yourself – when was the last time a CHRISTIAN organization was accused of such things? Buddhists beheading? Jews mass-murdering thousands? People will pull out weak nonsense about abortion clinics being bombed in the 1980s by some right-wing nut – as if that in any way is comparable to the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Muslim terrorists around the world today. In fact, Al Qaeda has over 7,000 members just in Somalia alone

JANUARY 7, 2014: French leader declares ‚Äėwar‚Äô on radical Islam after attacks (The Washington Post)
PARIS ‚ÄĒ Prime Minister Manuel Valls declared Saturday that France was at ‚Äúwar‚ÄĚ with radical Islam after three days of bloody attacks around Paris that sparked fears of a tide of violence by militants living in Europe.

The aftermath: 12 dead, 10 injured at Charlie Hebdo, including a policeman shot execution-style in the head; 4 others killed at a Jewish grocery store the next day. Now Muslims are complaining about retribution attacks. Are you @#$)&#% kidding us? Sow to the wind, reap the whirlwind. If you’re surprised by worldwide disgust with this ongoing bullshit from Islam, then you are either stupid as hell or so indoctrinated into the hate of Islam, that you can’t see anything clearly.

“Hundreds of bodies ‚Äď too many to count ‚Äď remain strewn in the bush in Nigeria from an Islamic extremist attack that Amnesty International described as the ‚Äúdeadliest massacre‚ÄĚ in the history of Boko Haram.”

The aftermath: An Amnesty International statement said there are reports the town was razed and as many as 2,000 people killed.

JANUARY 12, 2014: Militants force a girl, 10, to become a suicide bomber in sickening market attack in Nigeria (News Corp Australia)
“THREE female suicide bombers, including one aged around 10, have blown themselves up in separate attacks in busy Nigerian markets, killing dozens. Officials say the spate of attacks suggests terrorist groups are embarking on a new strategy: using harmless-looking girls and women in veils as suicide bombers. Four people were killed on Sunday when bombs strapped to two females, one a teenager, exploded in a crowded mobile phone market in Potiskum, northeast Nigeria.

The aftermath: The girl, likely completely innocent of what was strapped around her waist, was killed, along with at least 16 other people, and 20 more injured. This was at least 3rd time Islamic terrorists have hit this same marketplace – to the degree that bomb-detecting equipment had been installed. However, it failed to go off as likely the bomb was detonated remotely by these Islamic cowards.

This is why I firmly believe that BURKAS SHOULD BE OUTLAWED IN CANADA. When your terrorist thugs hide behind veils and use anonymity to blow up innocent citizens, don’t you DARE tell me that freedom of religion is behind it. Freedom of your religion to spread hate and murder perhaps, but that’s something we should be crushing with an iron fist.

JANUARY 11, 2014: ISIS repeats a threat; NYPD, other law enforcement on high alert (CNN.com)
“New York City Police Department officials and other law enforcement personnel across the United States were alerted to a new threat from ISIS after the terror group released a video message Saturday calling for its followers to “rise up.” An ISIS spokesman, Abu Mohammed al Adnani, is seen saying that followers should “rise up and kill intelligence officers, police officers, soldiers, and civilians,” specifically naming the United States, France, Australia and Canada as targets, according to a memo that CNN obtained.

The aftermath: As we stated before, this time, WE write the final page on this chapter. Bring the battle to our Canadian cities, and you’ll see what the REAL full wrath of God and “holy war” looks like. If you’re stupid enough to awaken the sleeping giant that is the Dominion of Canada – be prepared for the unleashing of Hell in return. We won’t roll over and play dead – we will defend ourselves at all costs, and to protect our families and our way of life, we will think nothing of wiping all of you off the face of the earth if you¬†dare attack our peaceful shores.

JANUARY 12, 2014: Marched to their deaths: Sickening ISIS slaughter continues as 250 soldiers captured at Syrian airbase are stripped then led to the desert for mass execution (Daily Mail)
“Sickening footage appears to show Islamic State [ISIS] militants parading around 250 captured soldiers through the desert in their underwear before they are killed and their bodies piled on the bare earth. An Islamic State fighter claimed the men were from the Syrian government’s Tabqa air base which extremists seized on Sunday, potentially handing them warplanes, tanks, artillery and ammunition.
The video, which has not been independently verified, is too graphic to be published in full.
It begins by showing dozens of men being marched through the desert wearing only their underwear. It then fades to black, resuming with a pile of bloodied bodies stacked on top of one another.”

This is the true bloodthirsty face of Islam. If we can’t peacefully overthrown a government by democratic means to set up an Islamic State, let’s just stage a coup and start a civil war. The end goal for this bloodthirsty murderers is the same – conquer and control.

Could Canada or the US be next? You scoff – they were probably laughing at the prospects in Paris and Sydney until recently as well. We need to be ready, we need to be vigilant, and we need to put Islam back where it belongs – in a mosque, not in our streets with handsguns.
